THE GOAL OF THE COURSE IS TO PROVIDE THEORETICAL AND APPLICATION KNOWLEDGE ABOUT DESIGN AND OPERATIONAL PROBLEMS RELATED TO THE ELECTRICAL POWER INDUSTRY. THEN, THE COURSE WANTS TO INTRODUCE THE STUDENTS TO FUNDAMENTAL CONCEPTS AND PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION OF VARIOUS TYPES OF ELECTRICAL MACHINES. THE TEACHING METHOD ALLOWS TO OBTAIN BASIC CONCEPTS FOR POWER SYSTEM APPLICATIONS. |
