Objectives | |

1)EXTEND AND IMPROVE THE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE BASIC PRINCIPLES TO MATERIAL AND ENERGY BALANCES INVOLVED IN THE TTRANSPORT PROCESSES AND THE MECHANISMS OF DISPERSION OF POLLUTANTS IN DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS. 2)APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED USING THE MOST WIDELY USED SIMULATION MODELS OF THE DISPERSION OF POLLUTANTS IN DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS (LAKES, RIVERS, GROUNDWATER, SOIL AND AIR) THAT ALLOW AN ESTIMATION OF THE IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT OF POTENTIALLY POLLUTING SOURCES. 3)PROMOTE THE INTEGRATION OF THE KNOWLEDGE AND THE ABILITY TO RAISE THE LEVEL OF CULTURAL EDUCATION FOR GREATER INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT ON ISSUES IN THE FIELD OF ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES AND ON THE QUALITY OF THE MODEL RESULTS. 4)DEVELOP THE ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE THE CONCLUSIONS OBTAINED AND THE REASONS UNDERPINNING THESE. 5)DEVELOP THE ABILITY TO STUDY INDEPENDENTLY AND SELF-MANAGED. |
