Objectives
** KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
STUDENTS WILL GAIN A SET OF BASIC ANALYTICAL TOOLS TO INTERPRET THE ECONOMY FROM THE STANDPOINT OF AGGREGATE PROCESSES: ECONOMIC FLUCTUATIONS AND LONG-TERM ECONOMIC GROWTH.

** APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
THROUGH FRONTAL TEACHING AND CLASSES STUDENTS WILL BE GRADUALLY BROUGHT TO THE CAPABILITY OF UNDERSTANDING AGGREGATE ECONOMIC PHENOMENA.

** JUDGEMENT
THROUGH THE ANALYSIS OF SOME CASE STUDIES, STUDENTS WILL BE ENCOURAGED TO DEVELOP ANALYTICAL AND CRITICAL SKILLS RELATING TO THE MAIN MACROECONOMIC DEBATES. THE CHOICE AND THE WRITING OF A PERSONAL REPORT PROVIDE A USEFUL BENCHMARK OF THESE CAPABILITIES.

** COMMUNICATION SKILLS
PARTICULAR ATTENTION WILL BE DEDICATED IN CLASSES TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF A RIGOROUS, EFFECTIVE AND ARTICULATED ECONOMIC LANGUAGE.

** LEARNING SKILLS
THROUGH INTERACTION WITH THE TEACHER AND CLASSES, STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO ENACT A GRADUAL AND CONSTANT CONTROL ON THEIR LEARNING CURVE.
