** KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE THE TOOLS TO UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPTS MORE COMMONLY USED IN THE MANAGEMENT OF CULTURAL HERITAGE. ** APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING IN ADDITION, THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE THE CAPACITY TO INTERPRET ECONOMIC PROBLEMS IN TERMS OF MODELS, AND TO APPLY THEM TO THE ANALYSIS OF CULTURAL POLICIES. |

THE FIRST PART OF THE COURSE IS DEDICATED TO PECULIARITIES THAT CHARACTERIZE ARTISTIC AND CULTURAL GOODS CONSIDERED SUCH AS PUBLIC GOODS AND / OR AS EXTERNAL CAUSES. HOWEVER, THE MICRO-ECONOMIC CONCEPTS ARE INTRODUCED, SUCH AS PRECISE, GOOD PRIVATE AND GOOD PUBLIC. AN INTRODUCTION TO THE THEORY OF THE FORMS OF THE MARKET, TO EXPLAIN THE BENEFITS OF EXCHANGE IN A DECENTRALISED ECONOMY, THE DISTORTIONS OF MONOPOLY AND THE PROBLEMS OF REGULATION AND MANAGEMENT CAPABILITY |

LEARNING IS ASSESSED BY WRITTEN AND ORAL TESTS. AT THE TIME OF THE WRITTEN TEST IS POSSIBLE TO DELIVER A INDIVIDUAL REPORT (ASSIGNMENT), ON A TOPIC AGREED WITH THE PROFESSOR. THE DURATION OF THE WRITTEN TEST IS 1 HOUR AND 30 MINUTES; WHILE THE ORAL TEST LASTS NO MORE THAN 30 MINUTES. |
