Objectives

** KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
STUDENTS WILL GAIN A SET OF BASIC ANALYTICAL TOOLS TO INTERPRET THE ECONOMY FROM THE STANDPOINT OF AGGREGATE PROCESSES: ECONOMIC FLUCTUATIONS AND LONG-TERM ECONOMIC GROWTH.

** APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
THROUGH FRONTAL TEACHING AND CLASSES STUDENTS WILL BE GRADUALLY BROUGHT TO THE CAPABILITY OF UNDERSTANDING AGGREGATE ECONOMIC PHENOMENA.
THROUGH INTERACTION WITH THE TEACHER AND CLASSES, STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO ENACT A GRADUAL AND CONSTANT CONTROL ON THEIR LEARNING CURVE.
Prerequisites
IN ORDER TO HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE SUBJECT, IT IS NECESSARY TO PASS MICROECONOMICS EXAM.

Verification of learning
AT THE END OF THE COURSE THE EXAM INCLUDES AN ORAL TEST TO VERIFY THE LEARNING OF THE MODULES. DURING THE EXAMINATION, A PRACTICAL CASE (AS FOR EXAMPLE THE RECENT FINANCIAL CRISIS) MUST BE INTERPRETED ON THE BASIS OF THE INSTRUMENTS ACQUIRED. THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE IS CERTIFIED BY PASSING AN EXAM
WITH EVALUATION IN THIRTIES.
