Objectives
GENERAL OBJECTIVE
THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH KNOWLEDGE RELATED TO THE COMPLEX DECISION-MAKING PROCESSES NECESSARY FOR STRATEGIC FORMULATION. IT FOCUSES ON THE STRATEGIC FORMULATION PROCESS, STARTING FROM THE RELATIONAL VOCATION AND WHICH ORGANIZATIONS SHOULD CULTIVATE TO ENSURE THE GENERATION AND REGENERATION OF VALUE CO-CREATION PROCESSES.

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND
THE STUDENT:
- WILL KNOW THE THOUGHT OF THE GREAT GOURS OF STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT;
- WILL UNDERSTAND RELATIONAL DYNAMICS TAKING THE PERSPECTIVE OF ORGANIZATIONAL GOVERNMENT;
- WILL KNOW THE TACTICAL AND STRATEGIC DECISION-MAKING PROCESS AND THE VALUE CO-CREATION PROCESSES;
- WILL KNOW THE VARIOUS APPROACHES TO STRATEGY;
- WILL UNDERSTAND THE LINK BETWEEN STRATEGIES AND THE ABILITY FOR OPERATIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT;
- WILL UNDERSTAND THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (WITH ITS TOOLS) AND STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT;
- WILL KNOW TOOLS AND APPROACHES TO THE CONCEPT, DEFINITION, IMPLEMENTATION AND SURVEILLANCE OF STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT.

ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
AT THE END OF THE TRAINING COURSE, THE STUDENT WILL HAVE ACQUIRED THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE AND PRACTICAL PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS IN INTERCEPTING NEEDS AND TRANSLATING THEM INTO STRATEGIES, AS WELL AS THE ABILITY TO USE THE MAIN TECHNIQUES AND TOOLS USEFUL FOR RESOLVING CERTAIN PROBLEMS SPECIFICATIONS.

Teaching Methods
TEACHING WILL BE CONDUCTED THROUGH THE USE OF TEACHING METHODS AIMED AT FACILITATING THE ASSIMILATION OF THE KNOWLEDGE TRANSMITTED, THROUGH THE DEFINITION OF PRESUMPTIONS, INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL TO THE LEARNER, WHICH STIMULATE ORGANIZED AND COMPLETE LEARNING. IN PARTICULAR, THE TEACHING METHODS USED WILL BE THE FOLLOWING:
- LECTUREL TEACHING, CHARACTERIZED BY DEBATE BETWEEN TEACHER AND LEARNERS (30 HOURS);
- ACTIVE TEACHING, THROUGH GROUP WORK (30 HOURS).
PARTICIPATION IN FACE-LEARNING IS NOT MANDATORY, BUT STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.
Verification of learning
THE LEARNING ACHIEVED BY THE STUDENTS WILL BE VERIFIED THROUGH AN ORAL EXAM LASTING ABOUT 20 MINUTES) TO BE CARRIED OUT DURING THE EXAM CALLS TO ASSESS THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED BY THE STUDENTS REGARDING STRATEGIC DYNAMICS. IN PARTICULAR, THE INTERVIEW WILL FOCUS ON THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED REGARDING STRATEGIC THINKING AND THE STRATEGY FORMULATION PROCESS AS A PRESUMPTION FOR THE PRODUCTION OF VITAL VALUE; ON THE METHODOLOGICAL AND INSTRUMENTAL APPROACHES NECESSARY FOR THE CONCEPT, DEFINITION, IMPLEMENTATION AND SURVEILLANCE OF STRATEGIC ACTIONS. THE ASSESSMENT WILL BE EXPRESSED IN THIRTIETHS.
THE MINIMUM LEVEL OF ASSESSMENT (18/30) IS AWARDED WHEN THE STUDENT HAS SUFFICIENT KNOWLEDGE OF THE THEORETICAL CONTENTS AND/OR SHOWS A JUST SUFFICIENT ABILITY TO CONNECT THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE TO THE STUDY CONTEXT OR A JUST SUFFICIENT ABILITY TO APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE IN MANAGEMENT TOPIC REFERRED TO IN THE EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE.
THE MAXIMUM LEVEL (30/30) IS AWARDED WHEN THE STUDENT DEMONSTRATES A COMPLETE AND DEEP KNOWLEDGE OF THE THEORETICAL CONTENTS AND/OR SHOWS A NOTEWORTHY ABILITY TO CONNECT THEORETICAL REFERENCES TO THE STUDY CONTEXT AND A NOTEWORTHY ABILITY TO APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE ON THE TOPIC OF MANAGEMENT REFERRED TO IN THE EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE.
PRAISE IS AWARDED WHEN THE CANDIDATE DEMONSTRATES SIGNIFICANT MASTERY OF THEORETICAL AND OPERATIONAL CONTENTS AND SHOWS THE ABILITY TO PRESENT THE TOPICS WITH REMARKABLE LANGUAGE PROPERTY AND INDEPENDENT PROCESSING ABILITY EVEN IN CONTEXTS DIFFERENT FROM THOSE PROPOSED BY THE TEACHER.
