Summa cum Laude Law Degree at the UNIVERSITY OF NAPLES FEDERICO II, School of Law - Naples, in 1977. Assistant Professor of Private Law (tenured) since 1980, Associate Professor of Private Law since 1993, Full Professor of Private Law since 2000; since 2003 Full Professor of Private Law at the University of Salerno, Department of Statistics and Economics. At the former Faculty of Economics, substitute for professorships in Commercial Law, Business and Contract Law and Transport Law. She has been a professor of informatics law at the University of Sannio and member of the Technical-Scientific Committee of the Center of Excellence on "Software Technologies" as scientific director for Juridical problems related to software in the information society. She has been tenured Professor of civil Law at the LUISS-Guido Carli University of Rome, and of Theory of Patrimonial Relations at the School of Specialization in Civil Law of the University of Camerino, as well as tenured Professor of contract Law, at the School of specialization for the legal professions, University of Naples" Federico II ". She held teaching positions and held lectures and seminars at various Italian universities. Scientific director and national coordinator of research funded by the University, Miur and the Cnr and promoter and coordinator of many cultural activities, seminars and conferences. Delegate of the Rector of the University of Salerno for the University Library Center and, from November 2005 to October 2007, member of the Board of Directors of the University of Salerno. From 27 May 2002 to 31 October 2007 she was Director of the Department of Law, Business and Employment of the University of Salerno; Coordinator of the PhD in "Legal Relations between Community Principles, Constitutional and Internationalization of Markets" at the University of Salerno. Member of the CEU-Escuela Internacional de Doctorado, Universidad San Pablo, Madrid. She has been National Secretary of the Italian Society of Civil Law Scholars (S.I.S.Di.C.). Since March 2011 she has been a member of the Society of European Contract Law (SECOLA) and since February 2012 member of the European Law Institute (ELI). Author of books in contract Law, consumer protection, financing contracts as well as numerous articles and essays published in collective works and in Italian and foreign reviews. From 2007 to 2013 she was Dean of the Faculty of Economics. Director of the Master in « Credit Manager » - Department of Economics and Statistics, University of Salerno. For the VQR 2011/2014 she has been Member of the Expert Evaluation Group of the ANVUR (National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research) for private and contract Law.
