Objectives
THE COURSE AIMS AT DEVELOPING KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS RELATED TO THE CREATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF INNOVATIVE AND SCIENCE-BASED START-UPS AS THE MAIN TOOLS FOR THE CREATION OF TECHNOLOGICAL TRANSFER PROCESSES. STUDENTS WILL ACQUIRE THE KNOWLEDGE NECESSARY TO UNDERSTAND THE SPECIFICITIES AND PROBLEMS OF THE ENTREPRENEURIAL PROJECTS THAT ARE THE BASIS OF THIS TYPE OF INNOVATIVE START-UPS AND WILL ALSO ACQUIRE THE KNOWLEDGE NECESSARY TO UNDERSTAND AND MANAGE TECHNOLOGICAL TRANSFER PROCESSES. STUDENTS WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THE CONTEXT WITHIN WHICH HIGH TECHNOLOGICAL ENTREPRENEURIAL PROJECTS MOVE AND THE INTERCONNECTIONS BETWEEN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE ACTORS INVOLVED IN THEIR DEVELOPMENT, ALSO IN LIGHT OF THE EVOLUTION OF INNOVATION MODELS IN THE DIRECTION OF OPEN INNOVATION .

ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING.

STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED IN THE EVALUATION AND MANAGEMENT OF ENTREPRENEURIAL PROJECTS WITH HIGH TECHNOLOGICAL AND SCIENCE-BASED CONTENT. THEY WILL THEREFORE BE ABLE TO APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED BOTH IN THE DIRECT MANAGEMENT OF SCIENCE-BASED ENTREPRENEURIAL PROJECTS AND WITHIN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS THAT OPERATE IN SUPPORT OF INNOVATIVE START-UPS.
Prerequisites
THERE ARE NO PREPARATIONS. HOWEVER, KNOWLEDGE OF INNOVATION STRATEGY AND MANAGEMENT IS RECOMMENDED IN ORDER TO PASS THE EXAM.

Teaching Methods
THE TEACHING COURSE WILL HAVE A TOTAL DURATION OF 60 HOURS (10 CFU) AND WILL MAINLY BE DEDICATED TO FRONTAL AND INTERACTIVE LESSONS (52 HOURS). THE COURSE IS COMPLETED WITH 8 HOURS OF SEMINAR ACTIVITIES WITH ENTREPRENEURS AND EXPERTS IN BUSINESS CREATION PROCESSES.
Verification of learning
THE VERIFICATION OF LEARNING WILL BE CARRIED OUT THROUGH A PRESENTATION OF A GROUP PROJECT WORK AND FINAL EXAM WHICH WILL CONSIST OF THE PRESENTATION OF A GROUP PROJECT WORK AND AN ORAL INTERVIEW WHICH AIMS TO VERIFY THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND THE STUDENT'S ABILITY TO EXPRESS IT IN A CLEAR AND ADEQUATE WAY. THE AVERAGE DURATION OF THIS ORAL EXAM WILL BE ABOUT 20 MINUTES. PASSING THE TEST IS CONDITIONAL ON KNOWLEDGE OF THE TOPICS SUBJECT OF THE COURSE. EXCELLENCE IS ACHIEVED BY DEMONSTRATING THE ABILITY FOR IN-DEPTH ARGUMENTATION AND THE ABILITY TO ARTICULATE THE CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE VARIOUS TOPICS SUBJECT TO THE COURSE
