THE COURSE INTENDS TO PROVIDE THE MAIN ELEMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE AND METHOD TOOLS FOR THE STUDY OF PAINTING, SCULPTURE AND ARCHITECTURE WORKS IN THE MODERN AGE IN THE ITALIAN AREA AND IN THE RELATED EUROPEAN CONTEXT. ---------- KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING THE STUDENT - WILL ACQUIRE THE ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE METHOD AND THE ESSENTIAL SKILLS OF ANALYSIS OF WORKS OF ART, AS THE FOUNDATION OF HISTORICAL RECONSTRUCTION; - WILL KNOW THE MAIN CULTURAL AND SOCIAL IMPLICATIONS OF THE ARTISTIC PHENOMENON; - WILL UNDERSTAND THE REASONS FOR THE PROTECTION, CONSERVATION, ENHANCEMENT AND ACCESS OF THE HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC ASSET ---------- ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING THE STUDENT - WILL BE ABLE TO OFFER A CORRECT INTERPRETATION OF PARTICULARLY SIGNIFICANT WORKS OF ART THROUGH AN APPROPRIATE HISTORICAL AND GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION AND TO IDENTIFY THE SPECIFIC LANGUAGE OF THE MAIN ARTISTS ACTIVE IN ITALY AND EUROPE IN THE SUBMITTED CRONOLOGICAL RANGE; - WILL BE ABLE TO RECONSTRUCT CULTURALLY HOMOGENEOUS PRODUCTION CONTEXTS AND TO INSERT THIS ARTISTIC PRODUCTION WITHIN WIDER AND INTERFERING HISTORICAL-CULTURAL CONTEXTS; - WILL BE ABLE TO OFFER AN ADEQUATE ICONOGRAPHIC READING OF THE ARTISTIC PRODUCT AND TO USE AND ENHANCE THE TESTIMONIALS OF DOCUMENTAL SOURCES AND ARTISTIC LITERATURE. |
