Objectives
THE COURSE IN MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY ITALIAN LITERATURE IN MODERN PHILOLOGY AIMS TO IMPROVE THE ABILITY TO READ LITERARY WORKS OF ITALIAN LITERARY MODERNITY, AND IN THE USE OF DIFFERENT CRITICAL METHODOLOGIES OF APPROACH TO LITERARY TEXTS, THUS EXPANDING THE STUDENTS' HERMENEUTIC AND ARGUMENTATIVE EXERCISE SKILLS

KNOWLEDGE AND COMPREHENSION SKILLS
THE STUDENT
- WILL TEND TO IMPROVE UNDERSTANDING OF TEXTS AND SUBSEQUENT KNOWLEDGE (STYLISTIC, THEMATIC, PHILOLOGICAL) OF LITERARY WORKS, PRACTICING SYNTHESIS WORK AND ESTABLISHING RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN AUTHORS AND TEXTS, THROUGH THE COMPARATIVE REGISTER OF FORMS AND CONTENT, NOT LEAST THE EXERCISE OF JUDGMENT AND VALUE


ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO
BE ABLE TO READ A TEXT, APPLYING PHILOLOGICAL, HISTORICAL, COMPARATIVE PATHS TO THE WORKS, AND ALSO USING COMPUTER TOOLS WHERE NECESSARY, ENTERING INTO THE NON-SYNONYMOUS DIFFERENCES BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF A TEXT

AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT
THE STUDENT
- WILL TEND TO IMPROVE THE CRITICAL CAPACITY EXERCISED ON LITERARY WRITING (UNDERSTANDING, INTERPRETATION, DISTINCTION AND VALUE JUDGMENT) BY EXPANDING IT TO OTHER NEIGHBORING (AND NON-NEIGHBORING) CULTURAL CONTEXTS, E.G. LITERATURE AND THE ARTS.
- WILL BE ABLE TO DISCERN AND EVALUATE, MOVE AN EXEGESIS, UNDERSTAND ITS MOVEMENTS, MEANINGS, AND BE ABLE TO EVALUATE IN TOTAL AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT THE RELATIONSHIPS WITH WHAT IS AROUND A LITERARY WORK, INCLUDING NON-LITERARY

- KEEP UP TO DATE AND USE BOTH BIBLIOGRAPHICAL AND ARCHIVAL TOOLS, AS WELL AS WHATEVER USEFUL RESIDES IN COMPUTER RESOURCES ALONG THE CRITICAL PATH ON TEXTS

HISTORICAL AND LITERARY GOOD KNOWLEDGE GAINED IN THE SECONDARY SCHOOL. BASIC SKILLS OF ANALYSIS AND SYNTHESIS OF A TEXT.

2. CRITICAL SKILLS IN READING LITERARY TEXTS, SHOWING TO BE ABLE TO DEVELOP AUTONOMOUS JUDGMENTS.
3. ABILITY TO INDEPENDENTLY UNDERTAKE THE READING OF THE LITERARY TEXT, WITH THE AIM OF UNDERSTANDING ITS REASONS, THEMES AND OVERALL MEANING.
