Mission
The TETI Lab supports the teaching and research activities of the Telecommunication and Statistics group.
Activities
Simulation and testing for research activities in quantum information science, distributed statistical inference, security in communication networks, processing of remotely sensed and gravitational waves signals, reliability of complex systems.
Specifically, the activities of the TETI Lab include:
- Design, simulation, and testing of algorithms for quantum information science.
- Countermeasures against attacks in communication networks.
- Processing of satellite data for environmental monitoring.
- Processing of data from gravitational waves.
- Analysis of complex systems for reliability evaluation.
Teaching
The TETI Lab is suitable for interactive teaching. The students can perform simulations, testing, and experimental validations aimed at complementing the learned methodologies, with specific reference to the courses offered by the Telecommunication and Statistics group. The TETI Lab is also suitable for thesis and post-graduation activities.
Equipment
The TETI Lab is equipped with 10 working spaces and a video projection system. The instrumentation includes:
- 10 average-power computers;
- 2 quad-core computers for advanced computation;
- 1 12-core computer for advanced computation;
- 1 spectral analyzer.
