Objectives
THE COURSE IS COMPOSED BY 3 PARTS.
THE FIRST IS DEDICATED TO THE THEORETICAL-CONCEPTUAL BASES THAT SUPPORT A VISION OF PUBLIC SPACE AS AN ENVIRONMENT OF RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN DIFFERENT TYPES OF SOCIAL ACTORS - INSTITUTIONS, PRIVATE ACTORS, OTHER SOCIAL PARTIES AND CITIZENS.
WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF CHANGES INHERENT IN THE POLITICAL AND INSTITUTIONAL SPHERE - WITH THE CRISIS OF REPRESENTATION, THE LIMITATION OF PUBLIC RESOURCES AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF COLLABORATIVE MODELS - THE ATTENTION ON THE ROLE OF SOCIAL RESEARCH IN THE NEW PUBLIC SPACE PRIVILEGES THE UNDERSTANDING OF CURRENT SCENARIOS DEI PROCESSES AND PROJECTS OPENED BY SPACES OF ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP AND PUBLIC-PRIVATE-SOCIAL NETWORKING. A SPECIFIC PART OF THE COURSE IS DEDICATED TO EVALUATION RESEARCH AND PRACTICES ON DIMENSIONS AND INDICATORS IN THE EVALUATION OF POLICIES, PROGRAMS, PROJECTS AND PUBLIC INTERVENTIONS.
THE SECOND PART IS DEDICATED TO THE PARTICULAR SEGMENT OF THE PUBLIC SPACE ACTED BY YOUNG PEOPLE AND DEALS WITH THE STUDY OF THE SOCIAL PROCESSES THAT THROUGH IT, FROM A SOCIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS PERSPECTIVE, STARTING FROM THE EXAMINATION OF YOUTH CONDITION UP TO THE ANALYSIS OF THE ACTOR NETWORK, POLICIES AND OF PROJECTS RELATING TO THIS FIELD.
THE THIRD PART IS DEDICATED TO A PROJECT WORK.
THE EDUCATIONAL PLAN INCLUDES SEMINAR AND WORKSHOP MEETINGS.
THE FUNDAMENTAL OBJECTIVE IS THE DEVELOPMENT OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS OF RESEARCH, ANALYSIS, PLANNING AND EVALUATION, THROUGH THE PRACTICE OF METHODOLOGICAL TECHNIQUES AND TOOLS, APPLIED TO PUBLIC POLICIES AND INNOVATIVE SOCIAL PROJECTS FINANCED WITH PUBLIC AND/OR PRIVATE FUNDS. THE OUTPUT SKILLS ARE OF MAIN INTEREST FOR MANAGEMENT FIGURES AND ACTORS IN PUBLIC DECISION-MAKING PROCESSES AND FOR SPECIALIST PROFESSIONAL PROFILES OF ANALYST, CONSULTANT, EVALUER AND DESIGNER OF PUBLIC PROJECTS.

Verification of learning
THE EXAM CONSIST OF AN ORAL INTERVIEW TO ASCERTAIN THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE TWO PARTS OF THE PROGRAM. THE QUESTIONS WILL COVER, ON ONE HAND, GENERAL AND CENTRAL TOPICS RELATED TO THE MAIN TOPICS ON “THE NEW PUBLIC SPACE” (INNERARITY 2008) (MACRO-THEMES SUCH AS ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP, SHARED RESPONSIBILITY, ETC.), ON THE OTHER HAND, MORE SPECIFIC ARGUMENTS, SUCH AS THE FOCUS ON YOUTH (ES. YOUTH PROJECTS AND PARTICIPATION, ETC.). USING THE 30-POINT SCALE RANGE, THE ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS ON MACRO-THEMES WILL OBTAIN A DOUBLE SCORE. IN ADDITION TO THE PUNCTUALITY OF THE ANSWER - ABOUT THE SCALING - THE ARGUING WEALTH, THE LEVEL OF DEPTH, THE CRITICAL REFLECTION CAPACITY, THE INTERCONNECTION BETWEEN THE ISSUES AND THE EXPLICATION OF EXAMPLES, CASES OR DIRECT EXPERIENCES WILL BE POSITIVELY EVALUATED.
