THE COURSE AIMS TO UNDERSTAND THE THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE DIGITAL SOCIETY, KEY CONCEPTS SUCH AS DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY, INTERNET, MEDIA AND SOCIAL NETWORKS AND THEIR IMPLICATIONS FROM A SOCIOLOGICAL POINT OF VIEW. THROUGH AN ADEQUATE THEORETICAL ANALYSIS OF RELEVANT TOPICS, SUCH AS NETWORK SOCIETY, RETICULAR INDIVIDUALISM, INFORMATIONAL CAPITALISM, THE ONLINE PUBLIC SPHERE WILL OFFER THE STUDENT THE POSSIBILITY OF ACQUIRING TRANSVERSAL KNOWLEDGE TO UNDERSTAND THE CHARACTERISTICS AND LINES OF EVOLUTION OF COMPANIES DIGITAL. THE ATTENTION PAID TO DIGITAL MEDIA WILL ENABLE A DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF THE SOCIOPOLITICAL DYNAMICS AND EMERGING TRENDS IN THE DIGITAL SOCIETY, INCLUDING PHENOMENA SUCH AS ONLINE COMMUNICATION POLARISATION, DISINFORMATION, DIGITAL ACTIVISM AND, PARTICULARLY ACUTE, THE DIGIT GAP ALE, WITH RELEVANT IMPLICATIONS SOCIOECONOMIC AND GEOPOLITICAL. |
