| THE COURSE PRESENTS THE HISTORY OF HISTORY OF ART FROM THE INSTITUTIONALIZATION OF THE DISCIPLINE IN THE 19TH CENTURY IN ITALY AND IN EUROPE UNTIL THE ANIMATED DEBATE ACTIVATED AT THE END OF THE 20TH CENTURY BY THE DECLARATION OF "CRISIS" OF ITS DISCIPLINARY STATUTE IN THE UNITED STATES, WITH THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE AND TOOLS OF UNDERSTANDING AND REFLECTION ON THE ROLE OF ART HISTORY IN THE PUBLIC SPHERE. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING. THE STUDENT WILL: • KNOW THE MAIN DESCRIPTION AND INTERPRETATION MODELS THAT HAVE DETERMINED THE HISTORY OF ART AS AN AUTONOMOUS DISCIPLINE FROM THE 19TH TO THE PRESENT; • KNOW THE HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL CONTEXT THAT DETERMINED THEM; • UNDERSTAND THE ROLE PLAYED BY ART HISTORY IN THE DEBATE ON HERITAGE, POLITICAL AND CULTURAL IDENTITY OF INDIVIDUALS, GROUPS, TERRITORIES AND NATIONS. ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING. THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO: • ORGANIZE THE INFORMATION AND CONTENTS CONCERNING WORKS OF ART AND THEIR CRITICAL FORTUNE IN A HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL PERSPECTIVE; • APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED TO THE CURRENT DEBATE AROUND THE METHODS OF ART HISTORY AND ITS STATUTE; • ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN A CONSCIOUS MANNER IN THE PROCESSES OF ENHANCING THE CULTURAL HERITAGE IN THE PUBLIC SPHERE, AS A RESOURCE FOR COMMUNITIES AND TERRITORIES, IN A PERSPECTIVE OF INTERCULTURALITY AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT. THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO: • SELECT AND ORGANIZE THEMES AND ADVANCED SCIENTIFIC CONTENTS ; • CRITICALLY EVALUATE DISCOURSES AND INTERPRETATIVE MODELS. COMMUNICATION SKILLS. THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO: • REPRESENT AND COMMUNICATE, THROUGH TEXTS AND VIRTUAL TOOLS, RESULTS OF SPECIALIST RESEARCH. LEARNING ABILITY. THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO: • USE TRADITIONAL BIBLIOGRAPHICAL TOOLS AND SPECIALIZED DIGITAL RESOURCES; • PERFORME RESEARCH ACTIVITIES, UNDERSTANDING AND INTERPRETING COMPLEX TEXTS ON ADVANCED SCIENTIFIC CONTENTS; • LEARN TO LEARN AND UPDATE KNOWLEDGE, TROUGH SPECIALIZED TOOLS. |
