THE EXAMINATION CONSISTS OF A WRITTEN TEST AND AN ORAL EXAMINATION . A SUCCESSFULL COMPLETION OF THE WRITTEN TEST IS CONDITION REQUIRED FOR REACHING THE ORAL STAGE. EACH OF THE TWO STAGES CAN BE PASSED WITH A MINIMUM OF 18/30. THE FINAL GRADE IS SIMPLY THE AVERAGE OF THE TWO PARTIAL RESULTS.
THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION, LASTING APPROXIMATELY TWO HOUR AND HALF, IS AIMED AT DETERMINING IN A CLEAR AND UNAMBIGUOUS MANNER THE STUDENTS’ KNOWLEDGE AND THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND BOTH THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL CONTENTS AS TARGETED IN THE PROGRAMME. FINALLY, IT VERIFIES HOW THE STUDENTS CAN APPLY THE THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE. THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION IS COMPOSED OF THREE PARTS, EACH INCLUDING TREE SECTIONS.
THE FIRST SECTION CONSISTS OF 10 TRUE/FALSE QUESTIONS; OVERALL, THE MAXIMUM SCORE ON THIS PART IS 2 POINTS.
THE SECOND SECTION CONSISTS OF 6 MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS; THE STUDENT MUST EXPLAIN THE CORRECT ANSWER WITH A SHORT COMMENT; THE MAXIMUM SCORE ON THIS PART IS OVERALL 18. FINALLY, THE LAST SECTION CONSISTS OF 4 EXERCISES; THE OVERALL SCORE IS 10.
THE QUESTIONS ARE SIMILAR TO THOSE RESOLVED DURING THE COURSE. COMPUTERS, TEXTS AND MOBILES ARE NOT ALLOWED DURING THE EXAMINATION.
THE OBJECTIVE OF THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION IS TO VERIFY THE OVERALL KNOWLEDGE OF THE CONSUMER THEORY, DEMAND, SUPPLY AND MARKET FUNCTIONING, FIRM THEORY.
THE ORAL EXAMINATION CONSISTS OF AN INTERVIEW AIMED AT DEEPENING THE CORRECT RESPONSE OF THE FIRST PART OF THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION. IN THIS WAY ONA CAN TEST STUDENTS’ KNOWLEGE AND ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND ACHIEVED, AND , AT THE SAME TIME, THE EXPERTISE IN THE FIELD.
