THE EXAMINATION CONSISTS OF A WRITTEN TEST AND AN ORAL EXAMINATION . A SUCCESSFULL COMPLETION OF THE WRITTEN TEST IS CONDITION REQUIRED FOR REACHING THE ORAL STAGE. EACH OF THE TWO STAGES CAN BE PASSED WITH A MINIMUM OF 18/30. THE FINAL GRADE IS SIMPLY THE AVERAGE OF THE TWO PARTIAL RESULTS. THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION IS AIMED AT DETERMINING IN A CLEAR AND UNAMBIGUOUS MANNER THE STUDENTS’ KNOWLEDGE AND THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND BOTH THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL CONTENTS AS TARGETED IN THE PROGRAMME. FINALLY, IT VERIFIES HOW THE STUDENTS CAN APPLY THE THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE. THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION COMPRISES TREE SECTIONS. THE FIRST SECTION CONSISTS OF TRUE/FALSE QUESTIONS. THE SECOND SECTION CONSISTS OF MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS OR OPEN ENDED QUESTIONS; THE STUDENT MUST EXPLAIN THE CORRECT ANSWER WITH A SHORT COMMENT. FINALLY, THE LAST SECTION CONSISTS OF EXERCISES. THE TEXT OF THE WRITTEN EXAM SHOWS THE HIGHEST SCORE THAT CAN BE OBTAINED ON EACH QUESTION/EXERCISE. THE QUESTIONS ARE SIMILAR TO THOSE RESOLVED DURING THE COURSE. COMPUTERS, TEXTS AND MOBILES ARE NOT ALLOWED DURING THE EXAMINATION. THE OBJECTIVE OF THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION IS TO VERIFY THE OVERALL KNOWLEDGE OF THE CONSUMER THEORY, DEMAND, SUPPLY AND MARKET FUNCTIONING, FIRM THEORY. THE ORAL EXAMINATION CONSISTS OF AN INTERVIEW AIMED AT DEEPENING THE CORRECT RESPONSE OF THE FIRST PART OF THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION. IN THIS WAY ONA CAN TEST STUDENTS’ KNOWLEGE AND ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND ACHIEVED, AND , AT THE SAME TIME, THE EXPERTISE IN THE FIELD. |
