THE COURSE PROVIDES USEFUL AND PRACTICAL TOOLS FOR: - THE RESOLUTION OF TWO-DIMENSIONAL ELASTIC PROBLEMS IN PLANE STATE OF STRESS OR STRAIN; - THE ANALYSIS OF ELASTIC PLATES IN BENDING; - THE USE OF THE FINITE ELEMENT METHOD (FEM); - THE EVALUATION OF THE STRESS AND STRAIN STATES IN THIN-WALLED ELASTIC BEAMS. |
