Objectives
THE TEACHING IS DIVIDED INTO TWO PARTS,
THE ENVIRONMENTAL LEGISLATION PART IS REQUIRED TO ACQUIRE A SUITABLE KNOWLEDGE OF THE REGULATORY PROVISIONS, BOTH OF PRIMARY AND SECONDARY RANKING, IN THE ENVIRONMENT AND IN
THE MAIN ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS, IN ADDITION TO PROCEDURAL AND METHODOLOGICAL
NSTRUMENTS NECESSARY FOR THE UNDERSTANDING OF RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN LAW, ECONOMY AND
THE ENVIRONMENT. STUDENTS, BY IMPLEMENTING DIDACTIC TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS, WILL ASSUME A PERSPECTIVE OF LOCAL/GLOBAL OBSERVATION, AND THEY WILL BE ABLE TO ANALYZE AND CLASSIFY ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES FROM A LEGAL AND ECONOMIC POINT OF VIEW. THE SECOND PART OF THE TEACHING COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS FOR ACQUIRING THE ABILITY TO INTERPRET ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES, AS WELL AS THE METHODOLOGICAL TOOLS NECESSARY FOR AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LOW, ECONOMY AND ENVIRONMENT. STUDENTS, THROUGH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SPECIFIC TEACHING TECHNIQUES, WILL ASSUME A PERSPECTIVE OF OBSERVATION OF LOCAL/GLOBAL AND WILL BE ABLE TO ANALYZE AND CLASSIFY THE
PROBLEMS CHARACTERIZING ENVIRONMENT FROM ECONOMIC AND LAW PERSPECTIVE.
Prerequisites
KNOWLEDGE OF THE GENERAL PRINCIPLES IN THE AREA OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL AND LANDSCAPE PROTECTION, IN THE POLITICS OF THE DEVELOPMENT AND, AT THE LAST, IN THE NOMENCLATURE OF THE MAIN INSTITUTES AND CONSTITUTIONAL INSTRUMENTS RELATED TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND TO THE LINKED ACTIVITIES OF PLANNING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.

PUNITIVE AND REPAIRING REGIME; REWARD SYSTEMS
THE ECONOMIC APPROACH TO ANALYSIS OF THE ENVIRONMENT
THE ECONOMIC INSTRUMENTS OF ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
THE VALUE OF THE ENVIRONMENT

Teaching Methods
AS WELL AS TRADITIONAL CLASSROOM LESSONS, THE COURSE WILL INCLUDE SPECIFIC SESSIONS AIMED AT FURTHER IMPROVING THE UNDERSTANDING OF MORE INTERESTING TOPICS. IT WILL ALSO ENTAIL EXAMINATION OF REAL AND CURRENT CASES THAT REQUIRE A CROSS DISCIPLINARY APPROACH AND WHICH ARE RELATED TO THE CURRENT SCIENTIFIC AND SOCIO-ECONOMICAL EVENTS.
Verification of learning
AT THE END OF THE COURSE WILL BE REQUESTED TO STUDENTS THE PROCESSING AND DISCUSSION OF AN ELABORATE OF THE TREATED TOPICS (CONCEPTUAL MAP)
