SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES: THE OPEN DATES ARE RECONFIGURING COMPETENCES, METHODS, CONCEPTS AND SOCIAL, ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL KNOWLEDGE AT GLOBAL LEVEL. DAILY PRODUCED LARGE NUMBER OF DATA IN DIGITAL FORMAT THAT ARE NEEDED TO BE ANALYZED, MANAGED AND STORED IN AN ADEQUATE MANNER TO TRANSFORM INTO STRUCTURED INFORMATION AND ENABLE THEIR FUTURE REUSE. THE CHALLENGES TO WHICH THE SOCIAL SCIENCES ARE CALLED IN THE NEXT YEARS ARE OWN IN THEIR ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND THE POTENTIAL, GOVERN THE PERVIVAL AND MAXIMIZE THE USABILITY AND THE DIFFUSION OF THESE NEW INFORMATION TOOLS. TEACHING IS INTENDED TO PROVIDE THE CONCEPTUAL APPARATUSES AND THE APPROPRIATE TOOLS TO FACILITATE THIS THEME WITH HIGH COMPLEXITY. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING TEACHING INTENDS TO FAVOR THE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE MULTILITUDE OF DIGITAL DATA ARCHIVES TO WHICH IT IS POSSIBLE TO ACHIEVE TO RESPOND TO THE DIFFERENT COGNITIVE QUESTIONS OF SOCIOLOGICAL FIELD. IN ADDITION, TEACHING ENHANCES KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE MAIN PROCESSES WHICH ALLOW THE USE, PROCESSING AND ANALYSIS OF STRUCTURED DATASET AND PRODUCTS FROM A SINGLE SUBJECT OR DIFFERENT SUBJECTS - PUBLIC OR PRIVATE - IN THE PERFORMANCE OF A SOCIAL RESEARCH ACTIVITIES. ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING TEACHING PROMOTES THE APPLICATION OF KNOWLEDGE THROUGH THE USE OF APPLICATIONS CAPACI OF MANAGE AND ORGANIZE THE ENORMO MOLE OF INFORMATION ACCESSIBLE IN OPEN MANNER. NAVIGATION WITHIN STRUCTURED DATASET ALLOWS THAT THESE ARE EASILY INTERRUPTIBLE AND INTERPRETABLE BY A LOGIC MODEL AND IN ORDER TO ENABLE THE MANAGEMENT OF THE SAME DATA BY PARTICULAR DEDICATED SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS. IN ADDITION, TEACHING ENHANCES THE APPLICATION OF THE MAIN MULTIDIMENSIONAL STATISTICAL ANALYSIS TECHNIQUES TO THE OPEN DATA |

TEACHING WITH AN APPLICATION APPROACH, WANTS TO DEVELOP ALL THE EMPIRICAL RESEARCH PATH THAT IT IS POSSIBLE TO PERFORM FROM THE OPEN DATA. TEACHING PROVIDES TWO MODULES OF 20 HOURS. THE FIRST IS DEDICATED TO THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN OPEN DATA AND SOCIAL INNOVATION AND EMPIRICAL RESEARCH IN SOCIAL SCIENCES. THE SECOND INVENT IS DEDICATED TO THE MAIN TECHNIQUES OF COLLECTION, ARCHIVING AND ANALYSIS OF THE OPEN DATA. |
