Objectives

THE COURSE AIMS TO TRAIN STUDENTS INTERESTED IN CREATIVITY, AND BY ANALYZING THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAYS TO RAISE THE THRESHOLD OF TOURISM COMPETITIVENESS OF A REGION, IS SHOWING HOW AN INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH CAN BRING OUT NEW PERSPECTIVES FOR STUDY AND ACTION.

THE TERM CREATIVITY IS USED NOT ONLY IN RELATION TO THE ARTISTIC AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES, BUT ALSO TO THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF BUSINESSES AND GEOGRAPHIES. IF, THEREFORE, CREATIVITY IS A STRONG EXPECTATION FOR BOTH ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL VALUE PRODUCED BY THE CREATIVE INDUSTRIES AND THE EFFECTS OF SPILLOVER GENERATED AGAINST MORE TRADITIONAL SECTORS OF THE ECONOMY, IT BECOMES CRITICAL TO REFLECT ON THE WAYS IN WHICH ORGANIZATIONS AND BODIES PUBLIC CAN RELEASE ITS FULL POTENTIAL. THE COURSE WILL PRESENT BOTH THE THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK OF THEMES, AND SOME CASES IN THE TOURIST DEVELOPMENT OF CREATIVE TERRITORIES.

THE COURSE WILL BE ARTICULATE TO DEVELOP DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES: LESSONS, CLASSROOM DISCUSSIONS, EXERCISES.
Verification of learning
THE EXAM WILL CONSIST OF A CRITICAL DISCUSSION ON ALL THE TOPICS PRESENTED DURING THE COURSE.
THE EXAME IS WRITTEN AND ORAL
