KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING THE STUDENT WILL KNOW THE DISCIPLINARY FOUNDATIONS OF ECONOMIC GEOGRAPHY AND GEOGRAPHY OF TOURISM. TO THIS END, HE WILL UNDERSTAND THE HUMAN-ENVIRONMENT RELATIONSHIP AND THE RELATED TOOLS OF GEOGRAPHICAL ANALYSIS, AS WELL AS THE DYNAMICS OF THE STRATIFICATION OF THE TOURIST SPACE. THE COURSE WILL PROVIDE METHODS: - THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE DYNAMICS OF THE PHENOMENON AND THE TOURISM SECTOR; - READING AND GEOGRAPHICAL INTERPRETATION ON A REGIONAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SCALE; - THE CONSTRUCTION AND EVALUATION OF TOURISM DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES WITHIN THE LIMITS IMPOSED BY ENVIRONMENTAL BALANCES. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO OBSERVE AND UNDERSTAND TOURIST TERRITORIAL SYSTEMS; TO APPLY METHODOLOGIES OF CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF TERRITORIAL AND LANDSCAPE ORGANIZATION IN THE PHYSICAL-ENVIRONMENTAL, HISTORICAL-CULTURAL, POLITICAL-INSTITUTIONAL COMPONENTS; TO ORGANIZE AND COLLECT COMPLEX DATA/INFORMATION; TO ELABORATE AND RETURN THE DEEP KNOWLEDGE ON THE BASIS OF TERRITORIAL SURVEYS ON TOURIST SPACES; TO OPERATE IN A CONSCIOUS AND COOPERATIVE WAY TO STUDY AND ENHANCE TOURIST SPACES. |

THE DURATION OF THE TEST SHALL BE APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES. THE ASSESSMENT SHALL CONSIST OF: 1. ORAL PRESENTATION OF A CASE STUDY IN DEPTH BY THE STUDENT AND AGREED WITH THE TEACHER DURING THE INTERACTIVE EXERCISES. THE SUBMISSION MAY USE SLIDES AND PROVIDE FOR THE REQUEST FOR CLARIFICATION OF DETAILS OR THEORETICAL DETAILS BY THE MEMBERS OF THE EXAMINATION BOARD. 2. ORAL EXAMINATION WITH QUESTIONS ON THEORY. THE TEST AS A WHOLE: - TO ASCERTAIN THEORETICAL AND APPLIED KNOWLEDGE, - TO VERIFY THE EXPOSURE CAPACITY WITH LANGUAGE PROPERTIES, - ASSESS THE ABILITY TO SET UP A STUDY OF THE ANALYSIS OF TOURIST AREAS. |
