THE EDUCATIONAL AIM OF THE TEACHING OF GENERAL SOCIOLOGY IT IS TO REFLECT ON NEO-LIBERAL SOCIETY AND THE EFFECTS OF THE PANDEMIC CRISIS, TO QUESTION THE FUTURE IN A SITUATION OF PROFOUND UNCERTAINTY, CAUSED BY THE CHANGE IN THE HORIZONS OF ASSOCIATED LIFE. THE BASIC IDEA OF TEACHING IS TO LINK THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIOLOGY TO THE CONCEPTS OF SOCIETY, OF THE INDIVIDUAL AND OF MODERNITY, CONFIGURING ITSELF AS A CLASSROOM STUDY OF SOCIOLOGY IN AN ERA OF GLOBALIZATION. IT IS STRUCTURED IN AN INSTITUTIONAL PART AND IN A MONOGRAPHIC PART DEDICATED TO THE EFFECTS OF COVID. FIRST PART: WITHOUT RENOUNCING TO A PHILOLOGICALLY ANCHORED RECONSTRUCTION, HERE ARE ILLUSTRATED THE ABILITY OF CLASSICAL AUTHORS TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ANTICIPATE THE SOCIAL TRANSFORMATIONS OF TODAY: FROM THE PHENOMENA OF GLOBALIZATION AND THE METAMORPHOSIS OF CAPITALISM, TO THE RELATIONAL AND SOCIETAL DYNAMICS OF MODERN SOCIETIES, COMPLEX AND PLURAL. SECOND PART: THIS PART INSTEAD ILLUSTRATES THE FOUNDATIONS OF A SOCIOLOGY OF COVID. |
