Objectives
THE COURSE AIMS TO RECONSTRUCT THE HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT OF LITERATURE FOR CHILDHOOD AND ITS ROLE FOR EDUCATION AND CULTURE, AND TO CONSOLIDATE A CULTURAL AND LITERARY HORIZON ATTRIBUTABLE TO CHILDHOOD AND YOUTH. THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LITERATURE AND CHILD REGION ARE EXAMINED NOT ONLY THROUGH THE PRODUCTION STUDIO FOR CHILDREN BUT ALSO WITH THE DEEPENING OF ALL FORMS OF CONTACT BETWEEN NARRATION AND AGE CHILD. THE HISTORICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL PERSPECTIVE OF THIS RELATIONSHIP IS ACCOMPANIED, THEN TO A RECONSTRUCTION OF LETTERARY REPRESENTATIONS OF CHILDREN AND 'DIFFICULT' BOYS, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE PROBLEMATIC REALITY OF THE ITALIAN MERIDION AND THE RELATIVE EXISTENTIAL AND SOCIAL DEVIATIONS..
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: KNOWLEDGE OF THE BASICS OF CHINDREN'S LITERATURE,ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND THE MAIN AUTHORS AND TOPICS OF THE CHINDREN'S LITERATURE ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: ABILITY TO APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE GAINED IN CHINDREN'S LITERATURE TO THE ANALYSIS OF FURTHER AND MORE DIFFERENTIATED ISSUES OF THE FIELD, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE ACTIVITIES OF READING, LISTENING AND UNDERSTANDING LITERARY TEXTS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE VARIOUS PROFESSIONAL, EDUCATIONAL, AND CULTURAL AREAS.
Prerequisites
THE TEACHING IMPROVES KNOWLEDGES AND ABILITIES THAT THE STUDENTS ALREADY ACQUIRED IN THE FORMER UNIVERSITY STUDIES IN THE SAME FIELD (HISTORICAL-PEDAGOGICAL AND LITERARY). IT IS SUPPOSED THAT STUDENTS ARE ALREADY ACQUAINTED WITH THE BASIC ELEMENTS OF THE DISCIPLINE.

INTERDISCIPLINARY STUDIES ABOUT LITERARY PRODUCTION DESTINED TO CHILDHOOD AND ADOLESCENCE, WITH ATTENTION TO GENETIC FACTORS HISTORICAL-ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL-CULTURAL BELONGING AND EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING APPLICATIONS.
THE COURSE SHALL PAY PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO THE INTERSECTION "CHILDREN'S LITERATURE - LITERARY REPRESENTATION OF YOUTH".
THE COURSE IN STRUCTURED IN 2 PARTS:
GENERAL PART COVERS THE WHOLE HISTORY OF CHILDREN'S LITERATURE (NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL).
THE SECOND PART HAS SPECIFIC THEMES:
- THE 'DISCOVERY' OF CHILDHOOD IN THE LITERATURE OF COLLODI AND PASCOLI;
- THE YOUTH SCENARIOS OF THE ITALIAN MERIDION.
- LITERATURE AND 'URGENT' THEMES OF A SOCIAL NATURE.
THE CONTENTS OF THE PROGRAM ARE AIMED AT THE FUTURE EDUCATIONAL WORK IN A DIFFERENT SOCIAL CONTEXTS WITH THE REGISTER OF NARRATION AND IMAGINARY.
Teaching Methods
THIS TEACHING USES THE FOLLOWING METHODOLOGIES:

LESSONS WITH WIDE CONTENTS, WITH A FINAL DISCUSSION ON THE CENTRAL TOPICS OF THE LESSON.

LECTURES BASED ON TEXTS, WITH THEIR ANALYSIS AND THE DISCUSSION BY THE WHOLE CLASS.

LESSONS WITH READING, OBSERVATION, AND LISTENING EXERCISES THAT WILL ALLOW THE STUDENT TO EXPERIENCE THE LEARNING ACHIEVED.
Verification of learning
ORAL EXAMINATION WITH THREE STAGES OF INTERVIEW:
1 ONE OR MORE QUESTIONS ABOUT THE GENERAL AND HISTORICAL LITERARY PART
2 ONE OR MORE QUESTIONS ON THE PART ABOUT THE LITERARY REPRESENTATION OF CHILDHOOD.
3 ONE OR MORE DISCUSSIONS ON EDUCATIONAL POSSIBILITIES.
