Objectives
THE COURSE AIMS TO INTRODUCE METHODS AND TOOLS USED BY PHYSICS TO STUDY COMPLEX SYSTEMS AND NETWORKS, HIGHLIGHTING THE KEY ASPECTS OF COMPLEXITY AND NETWORKS OF NATURAL (E.G., FOOD NETWORKS) AND HUMAN ORIGIN (SOCIAL NETWORKS, WORLD WIDE WEB ETC.), AND THEN TO INTRODUCE THE STUDY OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND HEALTH SYSTEMS AS NETWORK BASED COMPLEX SYSTEMS.
