KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING THE AIM OF THIS CLASS IS TO PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH THE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING IN THE FIELD OF PHARMACOKINETICS, PHARMACODYNAMICS, DRUG RESISTANCE AND TOXICOKINETICS, OF DRUGS AND BIOACTIVE MOLECULES WITH CHEMOTHERAPEUTIC ACTIVITY AND THE RATIONAL USE OF COMBINATORIAL CHEMOTHERAPY DRUGS; TOXIC INTERACTIONS BETWEEN BIOMOLECULES FROM FOOD AND ENVIRONMENTAL; NATURAL AND SYNTHETIC MOLECULES WITH SPECIFIC BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITIES IN THE CNS AND PERIPHERAL NERVOUS SYSTEM; PSYCHOACTIVE DRUGS AND DRUGS DEPENDENCE. APPLYING KNOLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING TO BE ABLE TO APPLY THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE ABOUT DRUGS AND XENOBIOTIC FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF HUMAN PATHOLOGIES AS WELL AS FOR THE EVALUATION OF DRUG INTERACTIONS AND TOXICITY REACTIONS MAKING JUDGMENTS MAKING JUDGEMENTS AND INTEGRATING KNOWLEDGE TO MANAGE THE COMPLEXITY OF SIDE OR TOXIC EFFECTS THARAPY. WITH REGARD TO THE PHARMACIST ROLE AS INTERFACE BETWEEN THE PHYSICIAN AND THE PATIENT, TO MAKE JUDGMENTS ON THE BASIS OF INCOMPLETE OR LIMITED INFORMATIONS, BUT THAT INCLUDE REFLECTING ON SOCIAL AND ETHICAL RESPONSABILITIES LINKED TO THE APPLICATION OF THEI KNOWLEDGE AND JUDGEMENTS. COMMUNICATION SKILLS THE ABUILITY TO COMUNICATE INA A CLEAR AND UNAMBIGUOUS CONCLUSIONS OF THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND JUDEGEMENTS TO A SPECIALIST (HEALTH WORKERS) AND NOT SPECIALISTS (PATIENTS) OF ANY GRADE AND LEVEL OF EDUCATION. LEARNING SKILLS LEARNING SKILLS IN A SELF-DIRECTED OR AUTONOMY THAT MAY HELP FOR CONTINOUS UPDATING, A NECESSARY CONDITION FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF THE FUNCTIONS OF A PHARMACIST, THROUGH THE USE OF TESTE, SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS IN THE FIELD, THE MAIN DATA BASES OF REGULATORY AGENCIES (EMA, FDA, AIFA ETC.) |
