Objectives
THE COURSE AIMS TO START THE STUDENTS TO HAVE A GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF THE MAIN PHONETIC, GRAMMATICAL, LEXICAL AND NOMENCLATURE ASPECTS OF THE SPANISH LANGUAGE, AS WELL AS PROVIDE THE ELEMENTS NEEDED FOR ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION LEARNING. AT THE END OF THE COURSE THE STUDENT SHOULD KNOW HOW TO USE THE SPANISH LANGUAGE IN HIS DAILY MANIFESTATIONS, MUST UNDERSTAND AND PRODUCE SIMPLE AND CONSISTENT TEXTS ON SUBJECTS THAT ARE FAMILIAR TO HIM OR ARE OF HIS INTEREST. STUDENTS WILL HAVE TO REACH THE COMMUNICATIVE ABILITIES DESCRIBED IN LEVEL B1 OF THE COMMON EUROPEAN FRAMEWORK OF REFERENCE FOR LANGUAGES.
Prerequisites
NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF THE SPANISH LANGUAGE IS REQUIRED. GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF ITALIAN IS REQUIRED. THE COURSE IS AIMED AT BEGINNER STUDENTS OR WHO ALREADY HAVE AN ELEMENTARY KNOWLEDGE OF THE SPANISH LANGUAGE.

SYSTEMATIZATION AND PRACTICE OF THE MAIN PHONETIC, GRAMMATIC, NON-FUNCTIONAL AND LESSICAL ASPECTS WITH EXAMPLES OF LANGUAGE THAT ARE SUBJECT TO THE QUOTIDIAN LIFE. THE COURSE SAYS A PARTICULAR WARNING TO THE CONTRASTING ASPECTS AND THE DIFFICULTIES THAT GIVE ABOVE THE ITALY PHONES WHO STUDY THE SPANISH. INTRODUCTION TO ACADEMIC WRITING AND TEXTUAL TYPOLOGIES WITH SPECIAL ATTENTION TO NARRATION AND DESCRIPTION.
THE COURSE IS ARTICULATED IN FOUR TYPES OF ACTIVITIES STRICTLY RELATED BETWEEN THEM:
A) SISTEMATIC ANALYSIS OF LANGUAGE IN HIS PHONETIC AND INTONATIVE, MORFOSINTATIC, NON-FUNCTIONAL AND LESSICAL ASPECTS WITH PARTICULAR WARNING TO ITALIAN-SPANISH CONTRASTING PROBLEMS;
B) STUDY ASSISTED WITH A MANUAL AND ORAL EXPRESSION;
C) WRITING COMPRENHENSION AND WRITING EXPRESSION;
D) LISTENING.
THESE AREAS ARE GLOBALLY PROGRAMMED AND ARE NOT ALTERNATIVE. THERE IS ANYTHING THAT IT WORKS THE WORK OF WORK IN OTHERS.
Teaching Methods
THE INSTITUTIONAL COURSE SHALL BE ORGANIZED IN TWO PARTIES: A) GRAMMATIC AND STARTING TO REFLECTIONS ON THE OPERATION OF THE LANGUAGE; STARTING THE STUDY OF ACADEMIC WRITING.
B) PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF PART A).
MODULE A) WORKS WITH FRONTAL LESSONS (STUDENT COMMITMENT FOR 45 HOURS). FOR THE LANGUAGE PRACTICAL STUDY ARE PROVIDED 80 HOURS OF EXERCISES AND 40 HOURS OF E-LEARNING ACTIVITIES GUIDED BY TEACHERS.
FREQUENCY MODES: EVEN IF NOT OBLIGATORY, IT IS DETERMINING FREQUENCY TO COURSE AND EXERCISES.
STUDENTS WHO CAN NOT TAKE LESSONS FOR SERIOUS MOTIVES SHOULD COMBINE WITH THE TEACHER INTEGRATIVE DIDACTIC ACTIVITIES.
LEARNING LANGUAGE: ITALIAN IN THE FIRST LESSONS. THE REST OF COURSE IN SPANISH.
Verification of learning
WRITTEN AND ORAL EXAMINATION WITH ONE VOTE.
THE EXAM INVOLVES TWO WRITTEN TESTS AND ONE ORAL EXAM WITH ONE FINAL VOTE. OVERCOMING THE WRITTEN TESTS IS A KEY REQUIREMENT FOR ACCESS TO THE ORAL EXAM.
THE ORAL EXAM CONSISTS OF A REVIEW AND COMMENTARY OF THE WRITTEN TESTS WITH IN-DEPTH INQUIRIES AIMED AT ASSESSING THE AWARENESS OF THEIR MISTAKES AND SELF-CORRECTION CAPABILITY, LEXICON TESTING, EVIDENCE OF GENERAL CULTURE KNOWLEDGE ON THE HISPANIC WORLD, SHORT CONVERSATION ON TOPICS OF LIFE DAILY AND CURRENT KNOWLEDGE THAT ENABLES ATTESTATION OF COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE IN A B1 LEVEL OF QCER.
NON-ATTENDING STUDENTS
THE EXAM PROVIDES FOR A FINAL WRITTEN TEST AND AN ORAL EXAM WITH A SINGLE FINAL GRADE. PASSING THE WRITTEN TEST IS A BASIC REQUIREMENT FOR ACCESS TO THE ORAL EXAM.
