THE COURSE AIMS AT OFFERING A GOOD KWNOLEDGE OF THE MAIN THEORIES AND METHODS FOR TEACHING CLASSICAL LANGUAGES AND LITERATURE (ESPECIALLY THE GREEK ONE) AND TO DEVELOP THE ABILITY TO APPLY THEM TO TEACHING ACTIVITY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING THE STUDENT: -WILL KNOW THE MODERN THEORIES, METHODS, MATERIALS AND TOOLS (INCLUDED THE ICT ONES) FOR TEACHING CLASSICAL LANGUAGES AND LITERATURE (ESPECIALLY THE GREEK ONE). -WILL UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEMS OF TEACHING GREEK LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE TODAY. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO: -APPLY THEORETICAL KNOLEWDGE TO TEACHING ACTIVITY, CHOOSE AND USE DIDACTIC METHODS AND MATERIAL (INCLUDED THE ICT TOOLS) FOR TEACHING GREEK LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE. -EVALUATE VARIOUS TRANSLATIONS OF A GREEK TEXT FOR DIDACTIC USE. -CREATE DIDACTIC PATHS ABOUT GREEK LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE. MAKING JUDGEMENTS THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO -CRITICALLY ANALYZE MODERN DIDACTIC THEORIES, METHODS AND MATERIALS FOR TEACHING GREEK LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE AND TO EVALUATE THE TEACHING AIDS (INCLUDED THE ICT ONES) IN ORDER TO DEVELOP A PERSONAL TEACHING STYLE, BY INTRODUCING POSSIBLY INNOVATIVE ELEMENTS. COMMUNICATION SKILLS THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO: USE APPROPRIATE COMMUNICATIVE TECHNIQUES AND METHODS IN THE AT VARIOUS LEVELS OF TEACHING PRACTICE OF GREEK LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE. LEARNING SKILLS THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO -CRITICALLY JUDGE NEW THEORIES AND PROPOSALS FOR TEACHING GREEK. |

ORAL EXAM (LASTING ABOUT 30 MINUTES) TO TEST BOTH THE KNOWLEDGE OF DIDACTIC METHODS IN TEACHING GREEK LANGUAGE AND THE ABILITY TO TRANSLATE, ANALYZE AND COMMENT GREEK TEXTS FOR A DIDACTIC PURPOSE. EVALUATION WILL BE UNSATISFACTORY IF THE STUDENT DOES NOT DEMONSTRATE TO BE SUFFICIENTLY COMPETENT WITH THE THREE ABOVE MENTIONED ASPECTS. IN THE EVENT OF SUFFICIENT KNOWLEDGE, MARKS WILL RANGE FROM 18 TO 30 CUM LAUDE, DEPENDING ON THE LEVEL OF UNDERSTANDING OF THE TOPICS AND THE PERSONAL IN-DEPTH STUDY; 30 CUM LAUDE INDICATES VERY GOOD SKILLS AND OWN PERSONAL INTERESTS.. |
