Objectives
THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE THE STUDENTS WITH THE FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENTS OF THEORY AND HISTORY OF INSTITUTIONS, COMPARING THE MAIN EUROPEAN EXPERIENCES OF STATUAL CIVILIZATION BETWEEN THEMSELVES.

THE COURSE FOCUSES ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SOCIAL MENTALITY, INSTITUTIONS AND DEVELOPMENT, POINTING OUT THE REASONS THAT DETERMINE THE WEALTHNESS OF CERTAIN COUNTRIES AND THE MISDEVELOPMENT OF OTHERS. FURTHERMORE, THE MAIN STEPS ON THE EUROPEAN SOCIO-INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT WILL BE SINGLED OUT AND READ THROUGH THE MIDDLE AGE GENESYS OF THE MODERN ENGLISH AND FRENCH STATES (STRAYER). FINALLY, THE FUNDAMENTAL INFLUENCE OF EDUCATIONAL PROCESSES ON HEALTHY GOVERNANCE PRACTICES WILL BE CAREFULLY STUDIED.
