Objectives
TEACHING AIMS TO PROVIDE THE MAIN KNOWLEDGE TO UNDERSTAND THE DECLINE OF EUROPEAN HEGEMONY IN INTERNATIONAL PROCESSES AND DYNAMICS BETWEEN THE FALL OF THE EIGHTEENTH CENTURIES AND THE FORMATION OF MODERN WORLD POWERS EMERGED IN THE END OF THE FINOGUE. KNOWLEDGE IS AIMED AT GIVING THE STUDENT THE ABILITY TO CRITICALLY ANALYZE BOTH THE CHANGES THAT THE CENTER OF WORLD POWER RECORDS FROM THE 20TH TO THE 21ST CENTURY, AND THE EVOLVING OF THE INTEGRATION AND COOPERATION PROCESSES IMPLEMENTED IN THE DIFFERENT CONTEXT REFERENCE AS MUCH TO EVENTS AS TO THE RELATED HISTORIOGRAPHY ON THE THEME. IN THE LIGHT OF THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO DISTINGUISH AND INTERPRET THE TRANSFORMATIONS OF THE INTERNATIONAL FRAMEWORK AND THE CONSEQUENT REDEFINITION OF THE WORLD POLITICAL STRUCTURE IN RESPECT OF THE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ASSUMED ON THE GLOBAL STATION, IN THE GLOBAL STATION, BEFORE AND AFTER THE NEW MILLENNIUM. THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO FORMULATE CRITICAL JUDGMENTS ON THE POLITICAL PROCESSES AND THE DIPLOMATIC PERSPECTIVES THAT HAVE CHARACTERIZED THE HISTORY OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS AND COOPERATION FROM THE 20TH TO THE 21ST CENTURY. THE STUDENT WILL BE STIMULATED TO ORGANIZE YOUR ORAL IDEAS. THE TEACHING WILL ALLOW THE STUDENT TO DISTINGUISH AND INTERPRET THE CHANGE OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS AND FORMS OF INTEGRATION FROM THE SECOND POST-WAR TO OUR DAYS.

IT IS USEFUL A GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF THE CONTEMPORARY HISTORY.

SECOND MODULE: A GLOBAL POLITICAL HISTORY FROM THE SECOND POST WAR TO OUR DAY (LESSONS 15 HOURS; SEM. 5 HOURS); PROCESSES OF INTEGRATION AND FINANCIAL CRISIS (LESSONS. 15 HOURS; SEM. 5 HOURS)
Teaching Methods
THE TEACHING INCLUDES FRONTAL LESSONS (60 HOURS), EXERCISES (10 HOURS) AND SEMINARS (10 HOURS). IN THE LESSONS THE TOPICS ARE PRESENTED TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE COMPLEXITY OF THE EVENTS AND THE PROBLEMS FACED. IN EXERCISES AND SEMINARS, HISTORIOGRAPHIC ISSUES FROM TIME TO TIME IDENTIFIED IN THE LESSONS ARE DEEPENED IN THE LESSONS THROUGH THE PRESENTATION AND THE REPORT OF THE CORRESPONDING BIBLIOGRAPHY TO DEVELOP AND STRENGTHEN THE ABILITY OF ANALYSIS.
Verification of learning
THE LEARNING VERIFICATION WILL TAKE THROUGH A FINAL ORAL TEST TO ASSESS THE LEVEL OF UNDERSTANDING OF THE DISCIPLINE AND THE ABILITY TO REFER IN CONTEXT OF THE THEME OF THE EVENTS OF INTEGRATION AND COOPERATION PROCESSES CARRIED OUT IN THE DIFFERENT STAGES OF THE CONTEMPORARY AGE. THERE WILL BE FORMED AT LEAST THREE QUESTIONS TO ASSESS THE KNOWLEDGE AND THE ABROADED SKILLS. THE VOTE (MIN 18, MAX 30 WITH ANY PRAISE) IS DETERMINED BY THE LEVEL OF PERFORMANCE FOR EACH OF THE FOLLOWING SIZES OF THE ORAL EXPOSURE: MASTERING THE CONTENT, THE APPROPRIATION OF THE HISTORICAL REFERENCES, THE CLARITY OF THE MATTER, THE DOMAIN OF THE MAIN HISTORIOGRAPHIC INTERPRETATIONS.
