Objectives
MODULE I (DOTT. MATONTI)
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
THE MAIN TEACHING OBJECTIVE CONSISTS IN GIVING THE STUDENTS KNOWLEDGE OF THEORETICAL APPROACHES AND METHODOLOGICAL TOOLS THROUGH WHICH ECONOMY, EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS CAN BE INVESTIGATED. STRATEGIC, ORGANIZATIONAL AND OPERATIONAL ISSUES OF SEVERAL CATEGORIES OF ENTITIES (PRIVATE FIRMS, HEALTHCARE FIRMS, PUBLIC ADMINISTRATIONS) WILL BE ANALYSED.

(APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING).
ABILITY TO APPLY AND TO INTERPRET THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS: INCOME AND CAPITAL PROSPECTUSES, MONETARY FLOWS AND ECONOMIC CONVENIENCE ANALYSIS.

AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT.
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO EVALUATE THE ECONOMIC CONDITIONS BY FORMULATING ECONOMIC CONVENIENCE EVALUATIONS COMPARED TO ACTUAL COMBINATIONS IN PRODUCTION PROCESSES.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO ILLUSTRATE THE MAIN COMPANY OPERATIONS AND THE ECONOMIC BALANCE CONDITIONS IN DIFFERENT BUSINESS TYPES.

LEARNING ABILITY.
THE STUDENT WILL LEARN THE PROBLEMS RELATED TO ECONOMIC-QUANTITATIVE DETERMINATIONS AND THE FOLLOW-UP OF CORPORATE BALANCES.

MODULE II (PROF. POLESE)
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
THE COURSE AIMS TO CARRY OUT A STUDY ON THE MAIN CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ENTREPRENEURIAL ACTIVITY, DEEPENED ACCORDING TO AN OPTIC OF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE PROCESS, WITH A SPECIFIC FOCUS ON THE MAIN COMPANY FUNCTIONS AND ON THE ANALYSIS OF ITS REFERENCE MARKET. THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THE COURSE IS TO ANALYZE THE FUNCTIONING OF COMPANIES AND THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THEM AND THE EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT IN MANAGERIAL, SYSTEMIC AND SERVICE TERMS, IN PARTICULAR BY TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE MUTUAL DYNAMISM AND THE EFFECTS OF THEIR RESPECTIVE ACTIVITIES.

APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
THE AIM OF THE COURSE IS TO PROVIDE TO STUDENTS KNOWLEDGE ABOUT CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND BUSINESS MANAGEMENT. THE MAIN MODELS OF BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT WILL BE ILLUSTRATED, IN ORDER TO ALLOW LEARNERS TO ACQUIRE THE BASIC CONCEPTS OF MANAGEMENT IN LIGHT OF THE CURRENT COMPLEXITY OF THE REFERENCE CONTEXT. STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO INTERPRET, ANALYZE AND UNDERSTAND IN AN OVERVIEW THE DYNAMICS OF GOVERNANCE AND THE FUNCTIONING OF MODERN SERVICE-CENTERED ORGANIZATIONS. THE LEARNERS, ON THE BASIS OF THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND THROUGH THE ANALYSIS OF CASES, WILL BE ABLE TO: FACE MANAGEMENT ISSUES RELATED TO ALL TYPES OF COMPANIES; ADDRESS SITUATIONS OF PROBLEM SOLVING AND DECISION MAKING; FORMULATE AUTONOMOUS AND CONSCIOUS JUDGMENTS ON MANAGEMENT ISSUES AND RELATED POSSIBLE APPLICATIONS WITHIN ORGANIZATIONS.

Teaching Methods
THE COURSE IS DIVIDED IN 60H OF FRONTAL LESSONS (INCLUDING PRESENTATIONS FROM REPRESENTATIVES FROM INDUSTRIES, NON-PROFIT AND PUBLIC SECTOR ENTITIES).
STUDENTS ARE FREE TO FOLLOW THE COURSE, EVEN IF PARTICIPATING IN THE LESSONS IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
THE COURSE IS IN TWO PARTS (30 HOURS EACH)
Verification of learning
THE FINAL EVALUATION WILL BE THE ARITHMETIC AVERAGE OF SCORES ACHIEVED DURING TWO MODULES' TESTS.

MODULE I (DOTT. MATONTI)
THE VERIFICATION OF LEARNING IS BASED ON A WRITTEN AND ORAL EXAMINATION. THE EVALUATION IS MARKED AS 30/30°.
THE WRITTEN PART, WHICH TAKES ONE HOUR AND THIRTY MINUTES, CONSISTS OF QUESTIONS ON BUSINESS OPERATIONS; COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS AND COST ACCOUNTING. THE ORAL EXAMINATION, WHICH TAKES ABOUT 20 MINUTES, CONSISTS OF THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL QUESTIONS.

MODULE II (PROF. POLESE)
THE TEST WILL BE HELD WITH AN ORAL INTERVIEW FOCUSED ON THE DEEPENING OF THE COURSE TOPICS AND TO THEIR UNDERSTANDING BY THE STUDENT. THE EVALUATION WILL BE IN THIRTIETHS.
THE MINIMUM (18), WHEN THE LEARNER PRESENTS A FRAGMENTARY KNOWLEDGE OF THE THEORETICAL CONTENTS OF THE COURSE AND A POOR ABILITY TO CONTEXTUALIZE THEM.
THE MAXIMUM (30) IS ASSIGNED WHEN THE STUDENT DEMONSTRATES A COMPLETE KNOWLEDGE OF THE THEORETICAL CONTENTS AND THE ABILITY TO OPERATE AUTONOMOUSLY THE CONCEPTUAL LINKS BETWEEN THEM.
PRAISE IS GIVEN WHEN THE LEARNER DEMONSTRATES SIGNIFICANT MASTERY OF THE THEORETICAL CONTENT, ABILITY TO ARGUE WITH ADEQUATE LANGUAGE PROPERTIES AND THE ABILITY TO CONTEXTUALIZE THEM EVEN IN DIFFERENT CONTEXTS FROM THOSE PROPOSED BY THE TEACHER.
