Objectives
GENERAL GOAL
The course aims to introduce and explore the role of information in the decision-making processes that entrepreneurs and managers face (in conditions of uncertainty) to guarantee the constant generation of value or the construction of competitive advantages.

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND
The student:
- Will know the corporate structure and managerial action of companies operating in national and international contexts;
- Understand the crucial role of internal and external information in ensuring situational awareness and information advantage;
- Will know the approaches for collecting, cataloging and classifying information;
- Will understand the scope of the decision making process;
- Will have mastery of tactical, strategic and competitive intelligence;
- Will understand the relationship between information and decisions in complex and emergency contexts;
- Will know the managerial approaches relating to contingency and disaster management;
- Will understand the relationship between corporate intelligence, business intelligence and security management.

ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
The student will be able to:
- Examine and frame company realities and classify them on a dimensional and operational basis;
- Analyze, in existing companies, existing systems for collecting, cataloging and classifying information - and set up new ones in companies being established;
- Set up information collection systems according to the most appropriate approaches;
- Support decision makers in making complex, contingency and emergency decisions;
- Building awareness for the maturation of cognitive dominance.

The student will be able to:
- coordinate, direct and motivate;
