LESSONS WILL CONCERN NAPLES (HYGIENIC CONDITIONS, EPIDEMICS, SOCIAL CITIZENS, GOVERNMENT, ECONOMIC CONDITIONS) IN COMPARISON WITH OTHER CITIES. KEY SOURCES FOR STUDYING CITIES INCLUDE TRAVELLERS' DIARIES. VARIOUS LETTERS AND TRAVEL DIARIES WILL BE ILLUSTRATED TO ENRICH OUR KNOWLEDGE ABOUT NAPLES AND THE OTHER CITIES (ESPECIALLY VENICE AND AMSTERDAM). |
