Objectives
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
TO PROMOTE, FOR BOTH SCHOLASTIC SECTORS, THE ACQUISITION OF THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE DIFFERENT LEVELS OF PLANNING AND EVALUATION IN EDUCATION; TO ANALYZE CRITICALLY THE DIFFERENT APPROACHES TO RESEARCH IN EDUCATION BY HIGHLIGHTING THE MAIN FEATURES ; TO UNDERSTAND THE BASIC STEPS OF THE EMPIRICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH PROCESS WITHIN THE DIFFERENT CONTEXTS AND THE METHODOLOGICAL DIFFERENCES EXISTING AMONG DIFFERENT RESEARCH METHODOLOGIES.
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
TO MAKE STUDENTS ABLE TO DESIGN TRAINING AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES IN VARIOUS FIELDS, THROUGH THE ANALYSIS OF THE METHODS AND RESULTS OF EMPIRICAL RESEARCH ON TEACHERS AND TEACHING IN THE NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOLS, AND TO PROVIDE PRACTICAL SKILLS APPLICATION OF TECHNIQUES AND INSTRUMENTS USED IN ALL PHASES;
AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT:
TO PROMOTE THE ADOPTION OF A THOUGHTFUL ATTITUDE IN THE DESIGN OF EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES, IN THE ANALYSIS OF RESEARCH HYPOTHESES AND RESULTS CARRIED OUT ON THE PROCESSES OF TEACHING AND LEARNING AND THE ABILITY TO ASSESS PERFORMANCE IN RELATION TO THEIR EFFECT FOR SCHOOL INNOVATION AND ITS QUALITY;
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
TO DEVELOP SPECIFIC COMMUNICATION SKILLS, USING AN APPROPRIATE VOCABULARY, REFERRING TO DIFFERENT AUDIENCES (EXPERTS AND OTHERS);

THE COURSE WILL PROPOSE ISSUES RELATED TO THE CONCEPTS OF EDUCATIONAL PLANNING AND TEACHING, OPERATING MODELS, THE MOST SIGNIFICANT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING IN KINDERGARTEN AND PRIMARY SCHOOL WITH THE RELEVANT STAGES IN THE CONSTRUCTION, METHODS OF TESTING AND EVALUATION OF LEARNING OUTCOMES AND PROCESSES . THE VARIOUS FORMS OF EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH, THE PHASES OF QUANTITATIVE AND QUALITATIVE RESEARCH AND THE TOOLS TO ACHIEVE THEM, WILL ALSO BE INTRODUCED AND ANALYZED.
Teaching Methods
THE COURSE WILL BE DEVELOPED THROUGH LECTURES WITH THE USE OF POWER POINT, ANALYSIS AND DISCUSSION IN THE LARGE GROUP ON THE MAIN AREAS CONSIDERED, WORK IN SMALL GROUPS LINKED TO LABORATORY ACTIVITIES.

THE COURSE OF " SCHOOL EXPERIMENTATION AND EDUCATIONAL PLANNING" WILL CONSIST OF TWO STRUCTURALLY INTEGRATED MODULES: "THE DESIGN TRAINING" AND "EDUCATIONAL EXPERIMENTATION." CONSIDERING THAT "EDUCATION" AND "RESEARCH" CANNOT BE SEPARATED, THE TOPICS PRESENTED ARE ABOUT SPECIFIC CONTENT FOR 'TEACHING IN KINDERGARTEN AND PRIMARY SCHOOL AND GENERAL AND CROSS TO THE TWO SECTORS.
THE FIRST MODULE AIMS TO PRESENT THE CURRENT PROBLEMATIC FRAMEWORK OF THE PLANNING PRINCIPLES AND STRATEGIES DEVELOPED WITH THE EVOLUTION OF LEARNING THEORIES AND TOOLS OF TEACHING MEDIATION.
THE SECOND ONE AIMS TO ADDRESS THE INNOVATION AND EXPERIMENTATION ISSUE THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE MAIN THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES OF EMPIRICAL RESEARCH IN EDUCATION AND THE TOOLS USED IN IT.
