Objectives
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND: KNOWLEDGE OF THE MAIN THEORETICAL, CONCEPTUAL AND METHODOLOGICAL TOOLS FOR EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES.
APPLIED KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: ABILITY TO APPLY CONCEPTS OF INTERACTIVITY AND MULTIMEDIA IN FORMAL EDUCATION CONTEXTS; ABILITY TO USE AN INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARD EFFECTIVELY.
AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT: ABILITY TO THINK CRITICALLY ABOUT THE INTRODUCTION AND USE OF TECHNOLOGIES IN EDUCATION.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: ABILITY TO MASTER THE TYPICAL LANGUAGES OF WEB 2.0, USING THEM STRATEGICALLY AND CREATIVELY TO ORGANIZE AND REPRESENT KNOWLEDGE.
LEARNING SKILLS: ABILITY TO EXPLORE, INDEPENDENTLY AND/OR IN GROUPS, THE NEW FRONTIERS OF EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH; ABILITY TO INDIPENDENTLY TAKE ON FURTHER STUDIES IN THE AREA OF EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES.

THE EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY LABORATORY INTENDS TO PRESENT SOME MODELS AND STRATEGIES FOR THE DESIGN OF MATERIALS/RESOURCES FOR TEACHING IN PRESCHOOL AND PRIMARY SCHOOL. THE ACTIVITIES WILL MAINLY CONCERN THE CONSTRUCTION OF OPEN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES AND LEARNING OBJECTS, IN ORDER TO PROMOTE DIFFERENTIATION, INNOVATION AND COOPERATION IN TEACHING.
OPEN ACCESS, WEB BASED TOOLS WILL BE PRESENTED, WITH DIFFERENT FUNCTIONS. AMONG THEM: TIMELINES (TIKY-TOKI), INTERACTIVE MAPS (STORYMAP), AUDIOBOOKS (DSPEECH), VIDEO (SCREEN-CAST-O-MATIC), INFOGRAPHICS (CANVA, PIKTOCHART), ONLINE PRESENTATIONS (PREZI, PADLET), ONLINE ASSESSMENT AND GAME BASED LEARNING (KAHOOT!).
LABORATORY ACTIVITIES IN GROUPS WILL BE DIFFERENTIATED ON THE BASIS OF THREE MACRO-AREAS OF INTEREST: DESIGN AND SHARING ON THE ETWINNING PLATFORM, TEACHING FOR PRESCHOOL AND FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL.

Verification of learning
FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT
STUDENTS WILL BE DIVIDED IN GROUPS AND WILL HAVE TO WORK ON THE DESIGN OF A TEACHING UNIT. DIFFERENT OUTPUTS ARE REQUIRED, ONE FOR EACH WORK PHASE, TO BE DELIVERED IN TIMES AND METHODS INDICATED BY THE INSTRUCTOR.
FINAL ASSESSMENT
EACH CANDIDATE MUST SUBMIT A PAPER FOLLOWING THE GUIDELINES PROVIDED BY THE INSTRUCTOR.
EACH CANDIDATE MUST TAKE A WRITTEN EXAM (MULTIPLE CHOICE TEST). THOSE WHO DO NOT REACH THE MINIMUM PASSING SCORE, WILL HAVE TO TAKE AN ORAL EXAM.
THE FINAL EVALUATION WILL BE EXPRESSED AS A PASS OR FAIL.
