Objectives
THE COURSE INTRODUCES THE STUDENT TO THE PROBLEM OF THE QUALITY OF TRAINING SERVICES AND THE BASIC TECHNIQUES FOR QUALITY ASSESSMENT AND SERVICE MONITORING.

THE COURSE, STARTING FROM SOME OF THE MAIN HISTORICAL STAGES THAT, IN LIGHT OF THE GREAT CHANGES THAT OCCURRED IN NINETEENTH-CENTURY SOCIETY, LED TO A NEW CONCEPTION OF SERVICES FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD, TO DEFINE A NEW EDUCATIONAL-PEDAGOGICAL IDENTITY, WILL BE MAINLY ORIENTED TO DEEPEN, THE CONCEPT OF QUALITY IN THESE SERVICES, FOCUSING ON THE IMPORTANCE OF THE PERCEPTION THAT THE SOCIAL ACTORS INVOLVED (FAMILIES, EDUCATORS, COMMUNITIES) HAVE OF THE SERVICE OFFERED AND ON THE IMPORTANCE OF COLLABORATION AND PARTICIPATION AMONG THEM IN "BUILDING "A QUALITY PROCESS.
FURTHERMORE, THE ASPECT OF QUALITY ASSESSMENT WILL BE ANALYZED, HIGHLIGHTING ITS STRONG EDUCATIONAL VALUE AND ITS NEGOTIATED AND PARTICIPATORY NATURE AMONG ALL THE SOCIAL ACTORS INVOLVED ALSO THROUGH THE PRESENTATION OF SOME USEFUL TOOLS FOR THE EVALUATION OF QUALITY IN NURSERY SCHOOL.
Teaching Methods
LECTURES, DIGITAL PRESENTATION, LABORATORIAL PRACTICES AND EXERCISES.
Verification of learning
THE LEARNING ASSESSMENT WILL BE CARRIED OUT THROUGH A WRITTEN TEST (40 ITEMS OF MULTIPLE CHOICE) AND SUBSEQUENT ORAL EXAM. THE WRITTEN TEST, IN WHICHWILL BE VERIFIED KNOWLEDGE DEFINED IN THE OBJECTIVES, IS PRELIMINARY AND COMPULSORY.
