Objectives
THE TEACHING OFFER AIMS AT GIVING ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE AND SPECIFIC TECHNIQUES FOR THE DESIGN AND THE EVALUATION OF EDUCATIONAL INTERVENTIONS FOR CHILD SERVICES, WITH APPROPRIATE REFERENCE TO BOTH PROCESSES.
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
-KNOWING THE MAIN MODELS FOR THE DESIGN AND THE EVALUATION OF EDUCATIONAL INTERVENTIONS.
APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
-TO BE ABLE TO DESIGN, MONITOR AND EVALUATE ACTIONS AND PROCESSES IN THE FIELD OF CHILD SERVICES.

Contents
THE COURSE WILL PRESENT THE MAIN THEORETICAL APPROACHES FOR DESIGN AND EVALUATION IN CHILD SERVICES. THE METHODOLOGIES AND TOOLS FOR UNDERSTANDING EXPERIENCES AND PRACTICES OF DESIGN AND EVALUATION PROCESSES FOR CHILDREN OF 0-3 YEARS WILL BE PRESENTED.
THE STANDARDS OF DESIGN AND EVALUATION WILL BE ADDRESSED, WITH REFERENCE TO THE ORGANIZATION, MANAGEMENT, AND EVALUATION OF CHILD SERVICE: FROM THE COMMUNICATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM TO THE ACCOUNTABILITY.
THE LABORATORY INTENDS TO PROMOTE PRACTICAL SKILLS IN STUDENTS IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECTS FOR AGE 0-3, WITH SPECIFIC REFERENCE OF TOOLS FOR IMPLEMENTATION, MONITORING AND EVALUATION PROCESSES.
Teaching Methods
LECTURES, SLIDES, EXERCISES AND CASE STUDY.
Verification of learning
THE FINAL EXAM INCLUDES A WRITTEN AND AN ORAL PART. THE WRITTEN EXAM, IN THE FORM OF A MULTIPLE CHOICE TEST, VERIFIES THE ACQUISITION OF THE CONTENTS DEFINED IN THE COURSE OBJECTIVES. THE ORAL EXAM IS AIMED TO ASSESS THE ABILITY OF ANALYSIS, ARGUMENTATION, REFLECTION AND RE-ELABORATION OF THE TOPICS COVERED.
WRITTEN EXAM: TEST WITH 40 MULTIPLE CHOICE ITEMS. STUDENTS WHO CORRECTLY ANSWER AT LEAST 21 OUT OF 40 QUESTIONS WILL BE ADMITTED TO THE ORAL EXAM.
IN ORDER TO PASS THE LAB, DESIGN ACTIVITIES AND RELATED EVALUATION PLANS WILL BE PROVIDED.
