Objectives
THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE THE TOOLS FOR UNDERSTANDING THE MORPHOLOGICAL ORGANIZATION, WITH A FUNCTIONAL ORIENTATION, OF THE HUMAN BODY.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES ARE:
TO KNOW THE MORPHOLOGICAL AND STRUCTURAL ORGANIZATION OF THE ORGANS AND SYSTEMS THAT MAKE UP THE HUMAN BODY;
TO ACQUIRE THE ABILITY TO CORRELATE THE STRUCTURAL ORGANIZATION OF SYSTEMS WITH THE CORRESPONDING FUNCTIONS AND TO UNDERSTAND THE ANATOMICAL AND FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE VARIOUS SYSTEMS WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO HEAD AND NECK;
TO KNOW IN-DEPTH ALL THE ANATOMICAL STRUCTURES OF ODONTOSTOMATOLOGICAL INTEREST OF THE HEAD AND NECK REGION AND BE ABLE TO APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED TO THE RESOLUTION OF BASIC CLINICAL PROBLEMS, DEMONSTRATING THE ABILITY TO CONNECT THE VARIOUS TOPICS ADDRESSED DURING THE COURSE.
Prerequisites
THE COURSE REQUIRES THE KNOWLEDGE OF BASIC BIOCHEMISTRY AND CELL BIOLOGY ACCORDING TO THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS OF THE SECONDARY HIGH SCHOOL.
