ACHIEVEMENT OF KNOWLEDGE AND COMPREHENSION SKILLS AIMED AT PROVIDING A HISTORICAL AND ECONOMIC BACKGROUND THROUGH THE LEARNING OF SPECIFIC TOPICS INHERENT TO THE EVOLUTIONARY SCENARIOS OF CAPITALIST ECONOMIES. APPLICATION OF KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE GENERAL LINES OF ECONOMIC HISTORY IN ORDER TO DEVELOP IN THE STUDENT THE ABILITY TO INTERPRET, IN A LONG-TERM PERSPECTIVE, THE MAIN MACROECONOMIC PHENOMENA IN RELATION TO THE ECONOMIC CYCLE, THE PROCESSES OF ECONOMIC GROWTH, THE DEVELOPMENT MODELS OF THE CAPITALIST ECONOMIES, CHANGES IN THE PROCESS OF EUROPEAN INTEGRATION. ABILITY TO USE AND INTERPRET, BY CONTEXTUALIZING AND HISTORICIZING, THE ECONOMIC PHENOMENA THROUGH TEACHING-LEARNING ACTIVITIES (LESSONS, WORKSHOPS, GROUP OR INDIVIDUAL WORK, CASE STUDIES DISCUSSIONS) ORIENTED TO THE QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COLLECTION OF DATA, AS WELL AS TO THE CRITICAL EVALUATION OF INFORMATION IN THE SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE. DEVELOPMENT OF COMMUNICATION SKILLS IN ORDER TO EXPRESS CLEAR AND DOCUMENTED INFORMATIONS, IDEAS, PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS RELATED TO ECONOMIC GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT MODELS IN THEIR HISTORICAL CONTEXT. THE STUDENT ACQUIRES COMPETENCES TO DESCRIBE IN FRONT OF INTERLOCUTORS (QUALIFIED AND NOT) MICRO AND MACROECONOMIC ISSUES IN A DIACHRONIC KEY, INHERENT, IN PARTICULAR, TO THE PHENOMENA OF TRANSFORMATION OF THE TERRITORY AND ITS GOVERNANCE IN A LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CONTEXT. THE STUDENT, BASED ON THE METHODOLOGICAL APPROACH OF HISTORICAL-ECONOMIC ANALYSIS, IS ABLE TO USE LOGICAL REASONING AND CRITICALLY EVALUATE THE VARIOUS MODELS OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND THEIR EVOLUTION, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE FACTORS OF INNOVATION AND SOCIAL COHESION. FURTHERMORE, THE ACQUISITION OF THIS LEARNING AND CONNECTION CAPACITY CAN BE USED IN EACH STAGE OF COMPLETION OF THE STUDIES. |

MIDTERM WRITTEN TESTS WITH OPEN ENDED QUESTIONS THAT WILL WEIGHT 50% ON THE FINAL VOTE; FINAL ORAL TEST WITH THE PRESENTATION OF AN INDIVIDUAL REPORT THAT WILL WEIGHT 50% ON THE FINAL VOTE. THE ORAL EXAM WILL BE AIMED AT VERIFYING THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE OF THE DISCIPLINE, THE CAPACITY FOR CRITICAL ANALYSIS AND THE EXPOSITORY CLARITY. |
