GENERAL OBJECTIVE THE OBJECTIVES OF THE TEACHING FIT INTO THE GENERAL FRAMEWORK OF THE THREE-YEAR DEGREE COURSE, IN PARTICULAR THE COURSE INTENDS TO PROVIDE, IN A CONCISE AND SUITABLE FOR THE APPLICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE OF THE BASICS AND APPLICATIONS OF GENERAL AND INORGANIC CHEMISTRY. THE TEACHINGS OF THE CHEMISTRY AREA PROVIDE THE KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND THE FUNDAMENTALS OF INORGANIC CHEMISTRY, IN PARTICULAR, THIS COURSE ALLOWS: - THE LEARNING OF THE CHEMICAL LANGUAGE, THROUGH THE STUDY OF THE NOMENCLATURE OF CHEMICAL ELEMENTS AND COMPOUNDS AND THEIR CHEMICAL PROPERTIES -PHYSICS IN THE DIFFERENT STATES OF AGGREGATION OF MATTER - LEARNING OF CHEMICAL PROCESSES, THROUGH THE STUDY OF CHEMICAL REACTIONS AND THE THERMODYNAMIC AND KINETIC FOUNDATIONS THAT ADDRESS THEM. KONOWLDGE AND COMPREHENSION THE SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE OF THE TEACHING IS TO ALLOW THE STUDENT TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE, WITH THE SUPPORT OF GENERAL CHEMISTRY TEXTBOOKS, PROVIDING THE BASIC KNOWLEDGE FOR UNDERSTANDING CHEMICAL PROCESSES. IN DETAIL, THE STUDENT WILL ACQUIRE THE ABILITY TO APPLY CHEMICAL KNOWLEDGE IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL FIELD AND TO SOLVE SIMPLE ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS CONCERNING BOTH THE ANALYTICAL ASPECTS AND THOSE RELATING TO CHEMICAL RISK. IN PARTICULAR, THE GRADUATE WILL BE ABLE TO: - UNDERSTAND CHEMICAL PROCESSES IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL FIELD - CARRY OUT COMMON OPERATIONS THAT TYPICALLY CARRY OUT IN A CHEMICAL LABORATORY - ACHIEVE THE PREREQUISITES TO CARRY OUT QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE INSTRUMENTAL ANALYZES ON DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENTAL MATRIX - PROCESS AND DISCUSS E THE RESULTS ACHIEVED CAPACITÀ DI APPLICARE CONOSCENZA E COMPRENSIONE THE AIM OF THE COURSE IS TO ALLOW THE STUDENT TO ACQUIRE BASIC KNOWLEDGE RELATING TO THE STRUCTURE OF MATTER AND CHEMICAL PROCESSES WHICH HE WILL APPLY IN SUBSEQUENT COURSES IN THE CHEMICAL-ENVIRONMENTAL FIELD. AUTONOMY OF JUDGEMENT THE COURSE WILL BE AIMED TO PROMOTE THE STUDENT'S ABILITY TO EXPOSE THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED IN A CLEAR AND RIGOROUS WAY. AT THE END OF THE COURSE THE STUDENT MUST BE ABLE TO STATE DEFINITIONS, PROBLEMS AND THEORIES CORRECTLY REGARDING THE CONTENTS OF THE COURSE ITSELF. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: STUDENTS ARE GUIDED TO LEARN IN A CRITICAL AND RESPONSIBLE MANNER EVERYTHING THAT IS EXPLAINED TO THEM IN CLASS AND TO ENRICH YOUR OWN JUDGMENT SKILLS THROUGH THE STUDY OF EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL INDICATED BY THE TEACHER. THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE OBJECTIVES OF TRAINING IS CERTIFIED BY AN EXAMINATION WITH A SCORE EXPRESSED ON A SCALE BETWEEN 18/30-30/30. THE EXAMINATION CONSISTS OF A WRITTEN TEST AND AN ORAL TEST THAT WILL TAKE PLACE ON DIFFERENT CALENDAR DAYS. ANY TEST PROVIDES AN EVALUATION ON A SCALE BETWEEN 18/30-30/30 AND IS INTENDED UP UP WITH MINIMUM VOTE OF 18/30. THE PASSIN OF THE WRITE TEST IS REQUIRED TO ACCESS THE ORAL TEST. THE WRITTEN TEST CONSISTS IN THE SOLUTION OF 4 PROBLEMS OF STECHIOMETRY IN MAXIMUM 120 MINUTES AND IS FINALIZED TO APPLY FOR EXAMPLES CONCRETE THEORY KNOWLEDGE, TO ASCERTAIN THE CAPABILITY OF COMPRISING THE PROBLEMS PROPOSED AND ORGANIZE WRITTEN REASONING. THE ORAL TEST TAKE PLACE IN AN INTERVIEW OF AROUND 20 MINUTES FINALIZED TO ASSESS THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND CAPACITY OF COMPRESSION ACHIEVED BY THE STUDENT OF THE THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL CONTENTS INDICATED IN THE PROGRAM. THE ORAL TEST WILL ALSO ALLOW THE PUPIL'S COMMUNICATION CAPACITY TO BE VERIFIED WITH LANGUAGE PROPERTIES AND AUTONOMOUS EXPOSURE ORGANIZATION ON THE SAME SUBJECTS WITH THEORETICAL CONTENT. THE TEST AS A WHOLE MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO ASCERTAIN BOTH THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND AND TO ASCERTAIN THE ABILITY TO EXPOSE THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, THE ABILITY TO SHOW, AND THE ABILITY TO LEARN AND DEVELOP SOLUTIONS IN AUTONOMY. THE MINIMUM MARK FOR PASSING THE EXAM IS 18/30, AND IS AWARDED WHEN THE STUDENT SHOWS A LIMITED KNOWLEDGE OF THE BASICS OF GENERAL CHEMISTRY.
