Objectives
THE COURSE AIMS TO CONSOLIDATE THE LINGUISTIC, TEXTUAL, PRAGMATIC AND TRANSLATION SKILLS IN SPANISH LANGUAGE THROUGH CRITICAL REFLECTION ON COGNITIVE PROCESSES AND SOCIOCULTURAL ASPECTS OF PRODUCTION, RECEPTION AND TRANSLATION OF INFORMATIVE AND SPECIALIZED DISCOURSES (MOSTLY RELATED TO MANAGEMENT OF CULTURAL HERITAGE). THE SKILLS WILL ALSO BE APPLIED TO HUMOR ANALYSIS. BY THE END OF THE COURSE STUDENTS WILL HAVE REACHED A LINGUISTIC COMPETENCE CORRESPONDING TO LEVEL C1/C2 OF THE COMMON EUROPEAN LANGUAGE FRAMEWORK.
Prerequisites
GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF SPANISH. DURING THE THREE-YEAR DEGREE COURSE STUDENTS MUST HAVE PASSED THE FOLLOWING EXAMS: SPANISCH LANGUAGE I, II, III.
Contents
THEORETICAL REFLECTIONS ON PROBLEMS CONCERNING THE ANALYSIS OF SPANISH LANGUAGE. COGNITIVE LINGUISTIC APPROACH TO CRITICAL DISCOURSE ANALYSIS OF INFORMATIVE AND SPECIALIZED DISCOURSES AND HUMOR. REFLECTIONS ON THE PROBLEMS RELATED TO THE TRANSLATION OF INFORMATIVE AND SPECIALIZED DISCOURSES (MOSTLY RELATED TO MANAGEMENT OF CULTURAL HERITAGE). RESEARCH AND DOCUMENTATION STRATEGIES.
