Objectives
THE LABORATORY AIMS TO DEVELOP TRANSVERSAL SKILLS - SO-CALLED SOFT SKILLS - CONSIDERED STRATEGIC IN THE CURRENT WORKING CONTEXT CHARACTERIZED BY COMPLEXITY AND CONTINUOUS CHANGE. IN PARTICULAR, LEADERSHIP, SELF MARKETING, PROBLEM SOLVING, NEGOTIATION, RELATIONSHIP EFFECTIVENESS, TEAM WORK AND TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS WILL BE ANALYZED AND STRENGTHENED. THE TEACHING, THROUGH SIMULATIONS AND GROUP WORK, WILL ALLOW THE STUDENT TO DEVELOP THE SKILLS NECESSARY TO MANAGE RELATIONSHIPS IN A WORKING CONTEXT (LEADERSHIP, NEGOTIATION, TEAM MANAGEMENT, TIME MANAGEMENT, ETC.).
THE COURSE WILL OFFER THE STUDENT AN OVERALL KNOWLEDGE OF HOW TO EXERCISE THE MANAGERIAL TOOLS FOR MANAGING INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS. FINALLY, AT THE END OF THE LABORATORY ACTIVITIES, YOU WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO EFFECTIVELY PRESENT AND COMMUNICATE RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT TOOLS IN ORGANISATIONS.

TRAINING ACTIVITIES ARE AIMING TO TRANSLATE THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPED BY STUDENTS DURING EITHER THEIR ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE OR THE INTRODUCTORY STAGE OF THE COURSE IN PRACTICAL SKILLS, ABLE TO HELP THEM IN UNDERSTANDING HOW TO BEHAVE AND WORK IN ORGANIZATIONAL ENVIRONMENTS. THANKS TO THEIR ATTENDANCE AT EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES, STUDENTS ARE BEING ABLE TO RECOGNIZE COMPETENCIES AND EXPERTISE REQUIRED BY ORGANIZATIONS OPERATING IN THE CURRENT ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL CONTEXT. ATTENTION IS BEING PAID TO NEEDS OF BOTH FOR-PROFIT AND NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, DISTINGUISHABLE IN FOUR CATEGORIES:
- ORGANIZATIONAL MODELS, FOR 6 HOURS, 4 HOURS OF FRONTAL LESSON AND 2 HOURS OF PROJECT WORK;
- BUSINESS MANAGEMENT TOOLS AND POLICIES, FOR 8 HOURS, 4 HOURS OF FRONTAL LESSON AND 4 HOURS OF PROJECT WORK;
- ANALYSIS TOOLS, FOR 8 HOURS, 4 HOURS OF FRONTAL LESSON AND 4 HOURS OF PROJECT WORK.
Teaching Methods
THE COURSE WILL BE OF 30 HOURS, 6 CFU, IN WHICH CHALLENGING TRADITIONAL NORMATIVE APPROACH, WHICH FOCUSES ON THE COMMUNICATION AND THE REPLICATION OF BEST PRACTICES, EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES ARE BEING PERFORMED BY MEANS OF EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING ACTIVITIES, WHICH ARE CONSISTENT WITH A GROUNDED RESEARCH METHOD. ACTUALLY, STUDENTS’ BEHAVIOURAL MODELS ARE BEING ANALYSED AND QUESTIONED, PAVING THE WAY FOR INDIVIDUAL IMPROVEMENT AND ENHANCEMENT PROCESSES. THE EDUCATIONAL METHODS ARE THE FOLLOWING: PROJECT WORK FOR 14 HOURS, AND FRONTAL LESSONS FOR 16 HOURS.
Verification of learning
THE LEARNING WILL BE VERIFIED THROUGH AN ORAL INTERVIEW OF APPROXIMATELY 15 MINUTES WITH THE TEACHER TO ASSESS THE TRANSVERSAL SKILLS ACQUIRED BY THE STUDENTS CONCERNING THE MAIN TECHNIQUES AND TOOLS USEFUL FOR THE RESOLUTION OF THE PROBLEMS WHICH TYPICALLY AND TRADITIONALLY ARISE IN ORGANIZATIONS, AS WELL AS THE ACQUISITION OF THE SKILLS NECESSARY TO MANAGE RELATIONSHIPS IN A WORKING CONTEXT SUCH AS LEADERSHIP, NEGOTIATION, TEAM MANAGEMENT, TIME MANAGEMENT, INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT, ETC.
AT THE SAME TIME THE WORK CARRIED OUT IN THE CLASSROOM DURING THE LABORATORY HOURS WILL BE EVALUATED, AS WELL AS THE EXPOSURE OF THE LOGICAL PATH FOLLOWED AND THE ABILITY TO CONTEXTUALIZE WHAT HAS BEEN DEVELOPED WITH RESPECT TO THE TOPICS COVERED BY THE COURSE.
THE MINIMUM (18), WHEN THE LEARNER PRESENTS A FRAGMENTARY KNOWLEDGE OF THE THEORETICAL CONTENTS OF THE COURSE AND A POOR ABILITY TO CONTEXTUALIZE THEM.
THE MAXIMUM (30) IS ASSIGNED WHEN THE STUDENT DEMONSTRATES A COMPLETE KNOWLEDGE OF THE THEORETICAL CONTENTS AND THE ABILITY TO OPERATE AUTONOMOUSLY THE CONCEPTUAL LINKS BETWEEN THEM.
PRAISE IS GIVEN WHEN THE LEARNER DEMONSTRATES SIGNIFICANT MASTERY OF THE THEORETICAL CONTENT, ABILITY TO ARGUE WITH ADEQUATE LANGUAGE PROPERTIES AND THE ABILITY TO CONTEXTUALIZE THEM EVEN IN DIFFERENT CONTEXTS FROM THOSE PROPOSED BY THE TEACHER.
THE FINAL EVALUATION WILL BE AN ARITHMETIC AVERAGE BETWEEN THE GRADE OBTAINED WITH THE PROJECT WORK AND THE GRADE OBTAINED DURING THE ORAL INTERVIEW.
