Objectives
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
THE OBJECTIVE IS TO PROVIDE METHODOLOGICAL AND QUANTITATIVE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT PROCESSES AND EFFICIENT SUPPLY NETWORK DESIGN.
APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO DESIGN, MANAGE AND MONITOR SUPPLY NETWORKS, ADDRESSING ISSUES OF PLANT, RELATIONAL, TECHNICAL, ECONOMIC AND FINANCIAL ISSUES.
MAKING JUDGEMENTS
THE STUDENT WILL DEVELOP THE ABILITY TO WORK IN GROUPS THROUGH DISCUSSION OF CASE STUDIES AND SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES. HE/SHE WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO MAKE AUTONOMOUS DECISIONS REGARDING THE DESIGN OF A SUPPLY NETWORK, BOTH PHYSICALLY AND RELATIONALLY.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
THE STUDENT WILL ACQUIRE THE TECHNICAL LANGUAGE OF THE SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT, NOT ONLY IN ITALIAN BUT ALSO IN ENGLISH, THANKS TO THE STUDY OF SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES IN SUCH LANGUAGE.

THANKS TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF METHODOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE, THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO DEAL WITH HIGHER-LEVEL STUDIES AND, BY VIRTUE OF THE MANY APPLICATIONS OF REAL-LIFE STUDIES, WILL BE ABLE TO DEAL WITH THE WORK WORLD WITH COMPETENCE.

Teaching Methods
60 HOURS OF DIDACTICS ARE DIVIDED INTO LESSONS AND EXERCISES. PARTICULARLY, 24 HOURS OF FRONT LESSONS, 12 HOURS OF SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES AND 24 HOURS OF SERVICE ASSISTED TO THE COMPUTER ARE PROVIDED.
Verification of learning
THE EXAMINATION INCLUDES SOME INTERMEDIATE RELATIONS, A WRITTEN TEST AND A PRACTICAL TEST. FOR THE INTERMEDIATE RELATIONS, STUDENTS IN GROUPS OF MAXIMUM 5, DISCUSS SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES ON SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT. THE WRITTEN TEST INCLUDES THREE QUESTIONS, FINALIZED TO ASSESS THE THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE SUBJECTS AND THE CAPACITY TO APPLY IT TO PRACTICE. THE PRACTICAL TEST, PERFORMED ON THE COMPUTER, IS FINALIZED TO RECOGNIZE THE CAPACITY OF THE STUDENT TO SOLVE REAL PROBLEMS IN DESIGNING A SUPPLY NETWORK.
