THE CORSE AIMS TO PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS FOR THE DESIGN OF MULTIDISCIPLINARY INTERVENTIONS IN WHICH PHYSICAL ACTIVITY PLAYS AN ESSENTIAL ROLE IN PROMOTING BIO-PSYCHO-SOCIAL WELL-BEING. IN PARTICULAR, THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO: • UNDERSTAND THE THEORETICAL AND SCIENTIFIC BASES THAT LINK PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND PSYCHOSOCIAL WELL-BEING. • KNOW AND APPLY MOTOR METHODS AND TECHNIQUES AIMED AT PROMOTING INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP WELL-BEING. • INTEGRATE MOTOR ACTIVITIES WITH EDUCATIONAL APPROACHES SUCH AS THE LIFE SKILLS MODEL OF THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION (WHO). • KNOW HOW TO DESIGN AND CONDUCT SIMPLE PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL INTERVENTIONS, SPECIFIC TO AGE, OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND SPORTS AIMED AT DEVELOPING TRANSVERSAL SKILLS AND PROMOTING HEALTH. |

THE CONTENTS OF THE COURSE FOCUS ON THE INTRODUCTION TO THE ROLE OF THE PHYSICAL ACTIVITY IN PROMOTING AND IMPROVING THE BIO-PSYCHO-SOCIAL WELL-BEING OF THE INDIVIDUAL. MOTOR ACTIVITIES AND THEIR ROLE IN IMPROVING PSYCHOPHYSICAL HEALTH ARE DEFINED. THE EDUCATIONAL MODEL OF LIFE SKILLS ELABORATED BY THE WHO FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSVERSAL LIFE SKILLS CAPABLE OF COUNTERACTING RISKY BEHAVIORS FOR HEALTH THROUGH THE PRACTICE OF SPORT WILL BE ANALYSED. THE INDICATIONS AND CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR PHYSICAL EXERCISE ARE PRESENTED, CONSIDERING FACTORS SUCH AS AGE, PHYSICAL CONDITION AND THE PRESENCE OF ANY PATHOLOGIES. |

THE COURSE WILL TAKE PLACE THROUGH A COMBINATION OF LECTURES, GROUP DISCUSSIONS, PRACTICAL EXERCISES AND ANALYSIS OF CASE STUDIES, STUDY OF SOME RESEARCHES PRESENT IN SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE. STUDENTS WILL BE ENCOURAGED TO ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN LEARNING ACTIVITIES AND TO SHARE THEIR EXPERIENCES AND REFLECTIONS. |
