Objectives
THE COURSE AIMS TO PRESENT THE CENTRAL THEORIES OF GROWTH INEQUALITY AND DEVELOPMENT AND TO PROVIDE A POLITICAL-ECONOMIC PERSPECTIVE AND KNOWLEDGE ABOUT SUBJECTS RELATED TO DEVELOPMENT ISSUES. THE MULTIDIMENSIONAL NATURE OF THE CONCEPT OF DEVELOPMENT EMBRACES NOT ONLY ECONOMIC BUT ALSO SOCIAL, DEMOGRAPHIC AND INSTITUTIONAL THEMES. THE COURSE WILL THEN FOLLOW A MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACH ALLOWING STUDENTS TO ACQUIRE BASIC NOTIONS OF GROWTH, INEQUALITY AND DEVELOPMENT ECONOMICS, USEFUL FOR A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL PHENOMENA AT A GLOBAL LEVEL.

YOU HAVE PASSED THE EXAM OF 'INSTITUTIONS OF ECONOMICS'.
