Objectives
THE CLASS OF NOTIONS OF NURSING IS ARTICULATED IN 3 EDUCATIONAL MODULES. THE COURSE AIMS AT PROVIDING THE MAIN CULTURAL AND SCIENTIFIC FOUNDATIONS OF NURSING CARE, TO KNOW THE MAIN THEORIES OF NURSING CARE ADOPTED IN ITALY AND TO APPLY THE METHODOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE UNDERPINNING THE NURSING CARE PROCESS. FURTHER AIM OF THE COURSE IS TO PROVIDE THE RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE AND BASIC NOTIONS OF FOOD SCIENCE AND APPLIED DIETETICS. FINALLY, THE COURSE AIMS AT PROVIDNG THE STUDENT WITH THE TOOLS TO KNOW HOW TO DISTINGUISH THE MAIN BIOMARKERS SUITABLE FOR IDENTIFYING PATHOLOGICAL STATES .
IN AGREEMENT WITH THE DUBLIN DESCRIPTORS, AT THE END OF THE CLASS AND TO PASS THE EXAM, THE STUDENT WILL HAVE TO PROVE TO:
• HAVE REACHED KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE MAIN PROCESSES IN ALL THREE EDUCATIONAL MODULES.
• APPLY THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE TO NURSING, NUTRITIONAL AND LABORATORY AREAS. HAVING KNOWLEDGE OF THE ROLE OF NUTRIENTS IN HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY, BODY COMPOSITION AND THE TECHNIQUES USED IN THE HEALTH SECTOR TO DETERMINE IT, THE PHYSIOLOGY OF THE GASTRO-INTESTINAL SYSTEM, THE MAIN WAYS OF MODULATING FOOD INTAKE AND EATING BEHAVIOR.
- DISCUSS AND MAKE CORRELATIONS ON SIMPLE DATA OR HYPOTHESIS.
• KNOW HOW TO ASSESS ANY DIFFERENT OPINIONS PRESENT IN CERTAIN TOPICS COVERED IN THE COURSE IN AN INDEPENDENT AND CRITICAL WAY. RECOGNIZE THE FUNDAMENTAL ROLE OF CORRECT THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE MATTER IN CLINICAL PRACTICE AND IN THE FUTURE NURSING PROFESSION.

FRONTAL LESSONS. THE TEACHING PROVIDES THE OBLIGATION OF FREQUENCY, AT LEAST 75% OF THE PROVIDED HOURS FOR THE SINGLE MODULE IS NECESSARY TO SUSTAIN THE ORAL EXAMINATION.
Verification of learning
SINGLE FINAL PROFIT EXAMINATION WITH VOTE. THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE IS CERTIFIED BY PASSING AN EXAM WITH EVALUATION IN THIRTIES. THE TEST AS A WHOLE ALLOWS TO VERIFY BOTH THE ABILITY OF KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING, BOTH THE ABILITY TO APPLY THE ACQUIRED SKILLS, BOTH THE EXPOSURE CAPACITY, AND THE ABILITY TO LEARN AND TO DEVELOP SOLUTIONS IN AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT. THE TEACHERS INVOLVED IN THE COORDINATED MODULES PARTICIPATE IN THE OVERALL COLLEGIAL ASSESSMENT OF THE STUDENT'S PROFIT.
