Objectives
The Radiodiagnostics 2 course is divided into four teaching modules: Traditional Radiology (abdomen-pelvis-skeleton) and Pediatric Radiology with 1 CFU, Vascular Radiology and Body Intervention with 1 CFU, Pediatrics with 1 CFU, Technical-Methodological Aspects of Radiodiagnostics 2 with 2 credits. The course aims to promote the acquisition of theoretical knowledge concerning the principles and methodologies of traditional radiology of the abdomen-pelvis and thoracic skeleton, the fundamental elements of pediatrics, the principles and methodologies of vascular and interventional radiology.
Knowledge and understanding
- Knowledge and understanding of the theoretical and methodological aspects of Radiology of the abdomen-pelvis and of the skeleton
- Knowledge and understanding of the theoretical and methodological aspects of vascular and interventional radiology
- Knowledge and understanding of the theoretical and methodological aspects of pediatric radiology
- Knowledge of the main aspects of pediatrics
Ability to apply knowledge and understanding
- Ability to distinguish between different radiological methodologies.
- Ability to identify the appropriate radiological technique.
Transversal skills
- Ability to update through bibliographic tools.
Prerequisites
In order to understand and be able to apply most of the topics covered in the teaching, it is necessary to have passed the preparatory exam of Equipment 1.

Teaching Methods
The course includes frontal lessons lasting 72 hours.
Attendance at lectures and laboratory exercises is mandatory. In order to sit the final exam, the student must have attended at least 75% of the teaching hours. The method of verifying attendance is announced by the teacher at the beginning of the lessons.
Verification of learning
The achievement of the teaching objectives is certified by passing an exam with an evaluation out of thirty. The test as a whole makes it possible to ascertain both the capacity for knowledge and understanding, and the ability to apply the skills acquired, and the ability to present, and the ability to learn and develop solutions in independent judgment. The professors in possession of the coordinated modules participate in the overall collegial evaluation of the student's progress.
