Objectives
THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE TEACHING OF "DIDACTIC AND SPECIAL PEDAGOGY" IS TO PROMOTE REFLECTION ON PEDAGOGICAL-DIDACTIC THEORIES AND PRACTICES AIMED AT PROMOTING INCLUSIVE PROCESSES.

EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
AT THE END OF THE COURSE, THE STUDENT WILL DEMONSTRATE THAT THEY HAVE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE DISCIPLINE, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE COGNITIVE, METACOGNITIVE, EMOTIONAL AND RELATIONAL PROCESSES OF PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS.

ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
AT THE END OF THE COURSE, STUDENTS SHOULD BE ABLE TO:
- KNOWING HOW TO APPLY AND INTERPRET THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED TO GUARANTEE A PROFESSIONAL APPROACH TO THE EDUCATIONAL-DIDACTIC WORK, SHOWING ABILITY TO SOLUTION TO THE COMPLEX PROBLEMS EMERGING FROM THE PROCESS INCLUSIVE OF PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS;
- INTEGRATE THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED TO MANAGE THE COMPLEXITY OF INCLUSIVE DYNAMICS, SHOWING INDEPENDENT JUDGMENTS, ETHICAL AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY IN THE CONSEQUENT APPLICATION OF THEIR OWN ASSESSMENTS.

SCHOOL OF STUDENTS WITH NEEDS
SPECIAL EDUCATIONALS, PAYING ATTENTION
SPECIFY TO THE THEORETICAL REFLECTION THAT
UNDERSTANDS THE FULL INCLUSION PARADIGM.
THE MODULE WILL FOCUS ON THE FOLLOWING

- FIELDS OF STUDY OF SPECIAL PEDAGOGY;
- HISTORICAL NOTES ON DISABILITY;
- INTERNATIONAL SOURCES RELATING TO
ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF DISABILITY;
- INTERNATIONAL DEBATE: MODELS
CONCEPTUALS AND INTERPRETATIONAL TOOLS
OF DISABILITY;
- PRINCIPLES OF FULL INCLUSION;
- CONCEPT OF SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEED;
- CONTRIBUTIONS BY SEVERAL AUTHORS TO THE
SPECIAL PEDAGOGY.
Teaching Methods
THE COURSE, DURATION OF 60 HOURS (30 HOURS FOR THE "SPECIAL EDUCATION" MODULE AND 30 HOURS FOR THE "SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL MODULE") INCLUDES LESSONS AND GROUP ACTIVITIES
Verification of learning
THE FINAL EXAMINATION CONSISTS OF AN ORAL TEST ON THE CONTENTS OF THE COURSE AND THE REFERENCE TEXTS. STUDENTS NOT ATTENDING ARE INVITED TO CONTACT THE TEACHERS TO DEFINE ANY ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENTS.
