THE COURSE IN ETHICS INTRODUCES STUDENTS TO CONTEMPORARY DEBATES IN THE FIELD OF MORAL PHILOSOPHY. IT MAY AROUSE STRONG INTEREST IN STUDENTS BECAUSE IT ADDRESSES A NUMBER OF ISSUES WITH WHICH STUDENTS WILL BE CONFRONTED DURING THEIR PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDESTANDING: THIS COURSE AIMS AT PROVIDING A BASIC BUT SUFFICIENT KNOWLEDGE ON CONTEMPORARY THEORIES OF SOCIAL INCLUSION AND ON THE DEBATES ABOUT HOSPITALITY. ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: STUDENTS LEARN TO ANALYSE THE ETHICAL ISSUES WHICH ARE CONNECTED TO THE CATEGORY OF "INCLUSION" AND TO MAKE INFORMED JUDGEMENTS ON THE CONNECTED PROBLEMS. |

ORAL EXAM THE EXAM CONSISTS OF 3-4 QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS CONCERNING THE TOPICS DISCUSSED IN THE CLASS AND/OR IN THE BOOKS THAT STUDENTS MUST STUDY IN ORDER TO PASS THE EXAM. IN PARTICULAR, THE EXAM IS AIMED AT CHECKING THE CAPACITY TO DEVELOP CRITICAL REASONING ON ETHICAL ISSUES WITH A SPECIAL FOCUS ON CONTEMPORARY THEORIES OF SOCIAL INCLUSION AND DEBATES ABOUT HOSPITALITY DEVELOPED IN THE FIELD OF PHILOSOPHY AND SOCIAL SCIENCES.
