The course aims to illustrate the fundamental principles of political economy and provide the essential analytical tools to understand the functioning of today's market economies. The aim of the course is therefore to offer a theoretical knowledge of the main phenomena of the economic sphere enabling the student to understand the functioning of different economic systems and related market mechanisms. In particular, the student will acquire the fundamental methodological and theoretical tools of political economy, examining the individual decisions of families and businesses. The student will therefore be able to use basic economic models both to interpret cases and economic phenomena in different market forms, both to identify and understand cases and factors of failure market. |
