Educational Activities
The multimedia classroom is designed to support a wide range of educational activities, ensuring that students and instructors have access to advanced technologies for learning. Key activities include:
- Lectures with multimedia support: The use of digital tools and the Epson projector allows for the presentation of high-quality educational content.
- Computer labs: The room is equipped for practical exercises, with dedicated software available on each workstation.
- Online exams and tests: The configuration of the workstations ensures an appropriate environment for computerized evaluations.
- Training and updating courses: The room is suitable for hosting workshops and seminars aimed at students, faculty, and external professionals.
- Group projects and collaborative activities: Thanks to connectivity and individual devices, the room facilitates collaborative work.
Equipment
The multimedia classroom is equipped with state-of-the-art technological tools to ensure an advanced learning experience. The equipment includes:
- 60 mini-PCs: Each workstation is equipped with a Fujitsu Esprimo Q558 mini-PC, a 22” Full HD monitor, ergonomic keyboard, and mouse. The devices have wired and Wi-Fi connectivity, along with a suite of preinstalled educational software.
- Epson EB-2250U Projector: A 5,000 lumen LCD projector with WUXGA Full HD screen, up to 300 inches.
- Two multifunction laser printers: One color printer and one black and white printer, supporting printing, scanning, and copying functions, with network connectivity for shared access.
- Integrated audio system: The room is equipped with speakers for even sound distribution and a microphone for the instructor, with centralized audio control.
- High-speed internet connection: Access through a wired LAN network at each workstation and dedicated Wi-Fi for personal devices.
- Instructor’s station: Includes a control PC with a 27” monitor, connected to the projector and audio system, and software for managing student workstations.
